Amazing company and people.. and great quality

We recently bought our new build home from Nicholas King and have been very pleased with the build quality and they have a brilliant team. The sales team were amazing - Marie and Neha did an amazing job in keeping us updated and on top of everything that needed to be done. Tracey, who took over from them and smoothly handled the transition and very prompt on any of the items that were requested to be looked at. I would like to wish the company and the employees a very good luck and lots more success in their projects.

Nicholas King just don’t care…

Three years after purchasing our new NK Home we still have the pleasure of looking at the advertising boards and a huge rubbish tip. This is due to planning permission not being granted for MORE houses on this site where a children’s nursery & pub were supposed to go as part of the development and part of the selling pitch to buyers! If you want a nice finished development I would not recommend NK.

Beware these guys

My wife and I bought a flat in one of Nicholas King Homes' new developments in London. Three years after completion of the development, it became evident that there were problems with the cladding and that there were potential defects in the fire safety aspects of the cavity walls of the building. It transpired that the cladding had not been installed in accordance with the manufacturers' guidelines. A surveyor's report found that the "external wall system did not comply with the contemporaneous Building Regulations" and the non-compliances "amount to a present or imminent danger to the physical health and safety of the occupants of the building". We also discovered that the cladding used was not in accordance with the planning permission granted. My experience of Nicholas King's Homes was that they dragged their feet in accepting responsibility and were obstructive of the leaseholders' attempts to identify and remediate the problems. They only agreed to remediate the problems after we had claimed under the new building policy and, presumably, the insurers required them to remediate. Even then, they failed to provide a schedule of works to the leaseholders and announced that they were going to erect scaffolding without bothering to consult with the leaseholders or neighbours. On the whole they displayed an arrogant and contemptuous attitude towards the leaseholders who had paid them a lot off money for their flats.
