GoogleWe drove 40 minutes to view a property with Christopher Thomas Property. After about 10 minutes, we decided the location wasn’t suitable for our business and politely asked if they had any other options. The agent (also the director) became rude, told us we’d wasted his 20 minutes getting there, and said we should have checked the location on Google Maps, completely ignoring the fact that it’s normal to view a place in person before deciding. He then walked off without any attempt to help us further. Very disappointing and not the way to treat potential clients.

There are a few expectations Arshia, one is to be truthful. Your boss was extremely late for the appointment, not a problem in itself, we are patient - you had already said the shop was not the right size, ok. When we eventually met your boss he immediately said it was not in the right location. So what to do. Wrong size, wrong location. Once you have worked out the size, location and budget you might be able to help others to help you. It is not rude to tell someone to get their act together. I did not "walk off". I went back into the shop to apologise to my client who had also travelled some way to open the shop, witnessed all of this, to apologise on your behalf for your behaviour. I was told I was right to have given your boss a dressing down. How many people's time do yo feel you can waste in one morning. If you are in Windsor again you are very welcome to come and see us so we can sort this out. Up to you. Apologies if you feel offended.

GoogleI cannot thank Chris enough for his knowledge and honesty whilst we were acquiring our new studio premises. His advice and guidance through the whole process was second to none! Any questions we had were explained and advice given where we needed. It made the anxiety and stresses of relocating so much easier to deal with. Thanks again!!

GoogleInstructed Chris Thomas to sell our mixed use, (tenant in situ) commercial property.
Right from the start this sale was never going to be straightforward, but no one could have predicted the many challenges that cropped up along the way!
Chris worked tirelessly to resolve each and everyone of those challenges, whilst remaining proffessional and patient throughout.
There is no doubt in my mind that we would not have achieved the same positive outcome elsewhere.
Chris Thomas's friendly approachable manner also makes him an all rounder and a throughly nice chap to deal with.
Why try the rest, when you can have the best!!

GoogleChristopher Thomas & team have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, Chris is extremely knowledgable and answered any questions/ concerns we had with the property in question. This was our first lease and Chris explained the full process to us so we knew what to expect, We were very keen to sign the lease prior to Christmas, however were were having issues locating a solicitor to witness the singing with Christmas just around the corner and the effects covid has had, it was seemingly impossible! I told Chris of the issues we were facing and within an hour Chris came to the rescue and found us a solicitor who was willing to do it in time to complete on Christmas eve. He really and truly went above and beyond to help us and we couldn't be more thankful. He was a great negotiator between us and the landlord and nothing was to much trouble! Great communication from Chris! Would most certainly recommend! Once again thank you :-)PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Agent replied · 26 August 2024
Allyson, I am glad we caught up on the phone so now you are registered looking for a fortune telling, tarot selling, crystal gazing shop. I hope you found my response immediate, courteous and professional. Sorry your initial call completely confused my receptionist - who is a lovely person, not used to being asked if we are estate agents more used to main stream professional enquiries - we are Surveyors and RICS Expert witnesses too. I do not mind being called an "estate agent", it was my original vocation 40 years ago and we are fortunate to act for lots of landlords in Windsor - so sorry for the throwing of the phone down on you. I'm not quite sure what throwing a phone down sounds like although it seems we have picked up the pieces and spoken about the event internally. Many thanks, all the best wishes. Chris AssocRICS RICS Expert Witness Surveyor (and estate agent - commercial property division).
