We went to look at properties to buy in fife and we have sold our house STC. We saw a house in Falkland fife for sale and immediately called the agent at savills from the number on the For Sale board. We explained that we were interested in viewing and had 3 more days in Scotland in which to do so. We didn't hear back and are now back home as this is now 4 days later. I feel like we lost an opportunity as did the sellers. They should be aware that we are interested in buying their home and we should have had an opportunity to establish if we wanted it.

The best management service by Tami Falzon…We have had numerous managing agents over the years (with Savills and other agencies) and Tami has been the best by far. She is extremely proactive, diligent and professional. We had an issue with the washer dryer not working and the handymen sent by the insurers were refusing to complete the job due to unreasonable reasons. Tami not only sorted this out with the insurers but also made formal complaints and got me a refund - which was totally unexpected and much appreciated. Thank you for your wonderful service, Tami.

Tenants decided to move as they had to relocate and the end of tenancy was well handled and in particular the reletting process was very efficient only taking 48 hours as a result of presenting the property to the right audience. The result was an increased rental and the new tenant moving in within 48 hours of the exiting tenants moving out. Well done to Holly Goodge and her team and in particular George Prior. Good job.

GoogleWe were charged over £400 for a sales brochure when they took an instruction to sell a property, without any guarantee they will market effectively enough to gain a sale. So I suggest going to an estate agent who includes the sales brochure free of charge on the basis that their sales commission will cover this cost. They did not sell the property & only got an offer £300k below their valuation!!!
Thank you for your feedback, we have looked through our records and can see the matter relates to a property the office marketed seven years ago in 2017. Any agreed marketing costs would have been discussed and highlighted ahead of the instruction and completion of paperwork would have followed. We are truly sorry the office wasn’t able to sell the property and your experience at the time was disappointing. No one showed up for a scheduled valuation on an agreed date and time without explanation, while I had to take time off from work. I sent them a couple of follow-up emails to find out the reasons, but again, no replies. I am honestly shocked by such sub - standard service and unprofessional behaviour from Savills. I hope they can give me an explanation why this can happen, if they really have customer service, not just a cheap apology.
