GooglePOSITIVELY NEVER RENT WITH CHRISTOPHER BATTEN - We lived in a property for over a year with them and we recently moved to another property bearing in mind out of ten years of renting my family have never had any amount of deposit taken out for damage to any property. So anyway because we were moving out before the end of our contract we were told about £300 was to be taken out of our deposit to re-let the house which fair enough as we were cutting our tenancy short. Anyway cut to me and mum fully clearing out the house and giving it a good clean we then get charged £600 for minor stains on the carpet and minor marks on the walls which is absolutely ridiculous as this is fair ware and tear when living in a property then too top it all of we were charged £150 for leaving two boxes in the garage which instead of just calling us up to come collect the forgotten boxes they decided to charge us £150 which is absolutely ridiculous and shameful money grabbing behaviour please save yourself 100’s of pounds and never rent with these absolute scammers.

GoogleFrom start to finish with our house sale, the staff at Christopher Batten were brilliant. Our house was valued well and competitively and the photographer Mark took amazing photos which really stood out on RightMove, really helping get those first ‘bites’. Rachel, lovely and positive ,kept everyone in the loop and was always great to speak to on the phone. Last but not least, Sue who was so reassuring and wise during the typically stressful last stages. What a team.
100% recommend going with Battens. They’ve really set the standard.
