Please understand agents don't own the propertys.
A landlord does they are not responsible for a landlord not paying for works done on there propertys.
They are the middle person who take all the complaints on behalf of the landlord so if a property is in bad repair how is it the fault of an agency ?
Abit of commonsence here is needed believe you me if agents could sort out straight away repairs don't you think they would do!
Bowker always have the interest of tenants and do all they can to help solve any problem but without owning the property there hands are tied to maintenance unless the landlord agrees as its there property.

I've been using Bowker lettings for a few years now. The quality of the tenants they attract are excellent compared to other local agents that I used previously. The costs to carry out maintenance repairs, gas certs, etc are always low, so they don't take advantage of making uplifts on the guys they use which is a bonus, because it means I don't have the hassle of trying to find cheaper quotes. Certainly recommend using Bowker lettings.

Fantastic Landlord! Not the best agency.
My landlord was fantastic, i couldn't speak more highly of him, however dealing with Bowker trying to get my deposit back was a nightmare. Wouldn't recommend at all.
