We have had a fantastic experience with Christopher Hodgson selling our property, if I could give them more stars I would. We were initially with another agent and we thought we would never sell as months dragged by with few viewings, but when Christopher Hodgson took over there was a dramatic difference. All the staff in the office gave great service, were really pleasant to deal with, proactive and professional. Phones were always answered promptly, email notifications sent regarding viewings, and people got back to us when we asked them to. We want to give our special thanks to Jordan, (what a star!), who clinched the sale and then gave superb aftersales support, following up on queries and chasing solicitors, resulting in the quickest sale we've ever had - less than 8 weeks from sale to exchange of contracts! A massive thanks to everyone.

The Team at Christopher Hodgson were very helpful to deal with and I would definitely recommend for buying and selling. I was a buyer for a property they were selling. Special shout out to Rory and Laura. Rory was knowledgeable, positive, approachable and clearly knew his clients at a personable level. Laura Holmes at the Tankerton branch is one amazing Administrator Co-ordinator - without her this would have been a very different experience. I have moved many times over the years and this was by far one of my most challenging - Laura kept me informed, often going over and beyond and managed to keep the whole process moving, even when we hit various stumbling blocks along the way. Laura combined being totally professional at all times with showing genuine warmth and empathy - a rare and refreshing quality and one which I appreciated very much. Until there is complete reform of the home buying process, which is long overdue, vendors need a trusted navigator. Don’t fall for the gimmicks, some may randomly work; or the cheaper on line options or the Agents that give inflated evaluations. I have used Christopher Hodgson every time I have moved and will continue to. Moving house in this day and age is pretty fraught with problems and you need to have confidence in your agents both buying and selling, to get to the end of the road. This estate agent are selling a nearby property but had taken photos of our house and posted then onto all websites called and spoke to a man who was very unhelpful he said his photographer could not take pictures of the house they were selling only, have asked them to remove these pictures. If your photographer cannot do this we can take the pictures for you of the property you are trying to sell overpriced. Have noticed feedback from this estate agent they have made no attempt to speak to me and have ignored all calls made the staff have made no attempt to help sort our the problem absolutely no calls to my phone have been made from this estate agent,it appears Mr rolf lies, it is also very easy to take pictures as they cannot have not changed the photos I can and post online.

The estate agent and team provided specific and knowledgeable support for the rental of our unusual property and family circumstances. Throughout the process, information was shared appropriately and timely. The diligence shown to match the right tenant that suited our family requirements was excellent. I've had a disappointing experience with a below-standard estate agent who seems unwilling to accommodate meetings. They consistently fail to return calls, and trying to book appointments to see a property with a 5 days' notice feels too late, let alone arranging viewings for the next or same day, which invariably gets a 'no' without even checking with the vendor. The attitude seems presumptive, judging affordability based on my stated budget rather than my actual capacity to spend, leading to the refusal to arrange two viewings. This is frustrating as I am prepared to invest significantly more for the right property. Unlike their competitors, all staff members I interacted with at this agency were notably unhelpful. My engagements with other agencies in Whitstable have been overwhelmingly positive by comparison. A word of caution to sellers considering this route - based on my experience, if you're looking for an agency committed to doing their best to sell your house, Christopher Hodgson Whitstable will not do the right thing by you.
