I’ve had an offer on my house since November. First they told me the buyer was a cash buyer. Presumably to get the deal. Then when this ‘cash buyer’ took out a mortgage, the sale ground to a halt. When I asked them to speed things up, they tried to pin the delay on me. They also asked me for £500 for the buyer to compensate him for the delay - unbelievable! Their nominated solicitors are also incompetent. Asking for the same information over and over again. When I seek updates, neither Beales or their solicitors respond to calls & emails. I had to threaten to pull the house off the market just to get someone to call me. There was a bit of activity as a result. After that, silence again. My experience with Beales is that of sitting in an information vacuum for almost 5 months, being duped into a sale to a ‘cash buyer’ (who wasn’t at all), and suffering both their and their solicitor’s incredible incompetence, including repeated requests for the same documents. And still, no sign at all of a date for exchange of contracts, let alone completion.

As a first time buyer, the process couldn't have been easier thanks to Lily, Kirsty, Stacey and the whole team really. From the viewing of my new property to receiving the keys, I never had an issue. Always felt welcome when going into the store to speak to them and and always so friendly on the phone. It wasn't stressful at all and if you are a first time buyer, you can relax and they will take care of things and keep you in the loop at all times on how the process is going. Thanks again

We initially made a massive mistake and put our house on the market with Purple Bricks and after receiving apauling service from PB a family member recommend Beals. We cannot recommend Joe Lucas and his team enough! Ben came to value our property and take photographs, he took his time and was so professional throughout and the difference in marketing standards compared to PB was a different class. The team in the office are always on hand, they provide regular updates, return any calls promptly and are extremely helpful wether it's a member of the sales or lettings team answering the phone. They have managed to sell our property in less than two months which is quite an achievement over the quieter Christmas period. Joe has dealt with negotiating the offer from our buyer in a highly professional manner. We would only use Beals in the future for any sales or lettings and highly recommend Joe and his team!

Having tried selling on 2 occasions with another estate agent we decided that a change was required. We spoke to several agents and Beal's, represented by Adam Glee was, in our view, by far the best option. We judged this on Adam's positive attitude and the overall deal that we were offered. A buyer was found within about a month and despite various delays caused by the top of the chain we have now completed and are moving early December. Adam was very pro active in dealing with the delays and managed to keep our buyer who was tiring of the wait. Beal,s and Adam gave us good advice and acted in a thoroughly professional way throughout. We would definitely recommend them.

This Estate Agency is very good, The Staff really helped me and my family and saved us from becoming homeless , Ben our agent was super helpful and went out of his way to help us. We are Black Africans and was expecting a bit of Judgemental or poor service . Ben was very non judge mental , treated well above our expectations and will definitely use Beals again. He went out of his way to give us a lot of information.

Beal's have acted as my Lettings Managing Agent for some 22 years. I have also bought property through Beal's which have subsequently been let. As a Member of the Armed Forces I have been required to serve long periods overseas and Beal's have enabled me to retain and maintain my property investments successfully over this period. For me the real test of a Managing Agent is when things go wrong; it is in difficult circumstances that the true character of your Agent is most apparent. As my long association with Beal's testifies, we have always found a way to resolve the variety of challenges that can appear. If an Agent could be described as being of good character then Beal's would surely qualify. I would also offer that as a landlord I have admired how Beal's balance and represent the interests of both tenant and landlord noting that this is increasingly important as legislation and new tax law presses on us all. The integrity, honesty and reliability that Beal's have shown in their dealings towards me make it very easy for me by return to offer my unequivocal recommendation to others looking for a similar service. I am not taken to writing recommendation's but would like to take this opportunity to publically thank particularly Darren Faulkner, Maxine Faulkner, Stacey Walters and Jessica Morgan. Let me assure that these individuals are not my friends but just excellent people with whom I have worked over the years.

Myself and my partner Kate bought our first property and Beals were the Estate Agents involved.I was very happy with my experiences when it concerned Daniel Black and Brett Gamblin. They were very quick and helpful to answer our queries and resolved any complaints we had.Unfortunately at times the completion date did move back (which is not Beals doing of course) but Brett did follow up on things very quickly and kept us posted which was great!Our main complaint during our experience with Beals was having explicitly told one of the staff at Beals (who wished to discuss Mortgage Protection Insurance via one of their own finance brokers) that before booking anything in I would need to speak to my partner. My partner was then called to book something in behind my back which did cause some complaints from myself.I did get an apology which was the main thing.However despite this, very good indeed!

Me and my partner were looking to buy a house together. We had put a flat up for sale with another agent but we felt the flat had been undervalued and it had rightly so been by £5k. After struggling to secure a mortgage we decided to leave it a few months. We decided to ask Beals to value the flat and With a new valuation of £5k more we felt happier with this company. There was no pressure to go ahead and everything was explained really well. Adam really cared about us and our future plans and after we expressed concerns about the mortgage and that we couldn’t seem to find one he set us up with their mortgage advisor Tracey that day who was just fantastic and her knowledge led to a mortgage offer. The whole process from start to finish was professional and efficient. The sale and mortgage was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend beals to anyone. Certainly avoid chimneypots!

From beginning to end, Ross was always honest, kept me updated and tried to find solutions to problems. Sometimes hard to get hold of but understandable as he was dealing with more clients than just me.Beals managed to get a buyer in super quick time and I'm sure if it hadn't been for the solicitors (for both parties), the whole thing would have been a lot quicker than it was. Again, Ross tried hard to alleviate problems and listened to my issues patiently (I'm sure that sometimes that was hard to do-sorry Ross)!I've seen that buying and selling houses isn't as easy or as quick as I thought so thank you to all at Beals for you time, effort and patience!

I sold one of my investment properties through Beal's. Dan Fitzgerald dealt with the management of this sale, he was excellent. I was under time pressure as I needed the sale to complete quickly as a previous sale had failed to complete (nothing to do with Dan). Dan quickly understood my issues / timescales and worked with everyone involved to ensure the sale was managed at all stages. He also kept me fully upto date without any prompting on my part. Fantastic customer service from Beals Estate Agents in Hedge End. We dealt with Liz Parsons who worked enthusiastically and tirelessly and went the extra mile in her efforts to sell our property. Any queries we had were answered promptly and we were always kept up to date with immediate honest feedback from any viewings done.We used Beals own solicitors and found this a very pleasant experience with everything being clearly explained by our main contact Tanya Flack, who was superb in communicating with us every step of the way, making our experience completely stress free by keeping us constantly updated. Since purchasing Flat 3 Admiral House to let, I have had nothing but superior service from Beal's. I have been kept informed at all times of issues affecting my position as landlord. Recently the flat came up for let and the effort put in by Matthew Rudd and Jade to find the right tenant I found most impressive. Again, I was kept informed from initial interest, through credit checks and the tenant moving in at all times. At all times during the process Matt filled me with the confidence that a landlord needs to ensure their interests are being looked after. A highly trustworthy individual, I would thoroughly recommend Matt and his team to anyone looking to let their property.
