It was a difficult purchase as paperwork from the other parties took ages to come back which delayed things massively - unfortunately out of mine and the estate agents control. Brad was great at chasing things and getting back to me promptly with an update. He also went the extra mile and made it possible for my Nan to visit the flat before she past. Once completed he dropped to keys directly to me to save me the journey to the office. Fab and friendly service

Jon Williams was the true professional and nothing was too much for him in helping us sell our house in such a short time. He answered all our questions and was very prompt in returning our calls. Jon gave us very good advice on how to show the house. We will be eternally grateful to him for what could have been a very stressful time, instead we had faith in what needed to be carried out for a successful sale. Meyers Estate Agency have Agents and staff that are very polite and extremely helpful. I recommend this firm wholeheartedly.

Suzie was simply outstanding from the start of the process. My wife had engaged lots of the 'old breed' of estate agents, and to be honest they were boring, expensive and it seemed as if we were doing them a favour. She found Suzie who was the complete opposite; full of energy and passion from the start. We engaged the services of Suzie and she never let us down. Great photos, superb pitches on the usual selling sites. However, it was her immediate video on social media that found our buyers. Selling our home was not just about finances, we wanted to make sure the new owners were nice and would fit into village life. Not only did she out perform our financial expectations, the new owners are lovely.

Exceptional service from Meyers Estate, Wool It is the 1st aniversary of our move from Wareham and we were reviewing our experience with Meyers. Claire was fantastic from start to finish, incredibly professional. We were relocating to the midlands, a logistics nightmare, Claire made things as easy as possible, due to the hard work and commitment from her and Richard. Claire went above and beyond what is expected from an estate agent, and was available to answer any questions and offer advice to assist with our move. Claire was very quick with all responses. Communication was perfection. Claire effectively liased with the agents selling the property we puchased. Well done and thank you Claire and Richard. There aren't enough superlatives in the English language to express our appreciation for the work you did for us.

Despite a torturous end of the deal…

Despite a torturous end of the deal where we spent 2 weeks being told by all and sundry that exchange would happen 'today' everyday, overall Meyers Estates performed brilliantly. Pauline kept us in touch with matters relating to the delay in exchange. Having to reduce our price because the buyer was knocked down on their price of sale was a bit of a blow. But thank you Mark for doing all you could and staying in touch through the process.

Excellent service for our first property purchase

My husband and I recently purchased our first house through Meyers in Shaftesbury. Throughout the process, Brad was professional, friendly and helpful; he kept us in the loop with the sellers throughout and made sure we were informed of any and all relevant information as we progressed. We were given ample opportunity to view the property and Brad was very accommodating with fitting us in for viewings around busy work schedules and tenants residing in the property. We never felt rushed or hurried and Brad was able to answer all of our questions about the property itself, and the surrounding area.

Excellent service as buyer & seller

I both sold and bought through Meyers at the end of 2025. The staff listened to both what I expected as a seller and also what I was looking for as a buyer. Only showing interest and real parties round and same for me in viewing properties. They were efficient and knew how to market the property & I had real offers within a week. I would not hesitate to recommend Meyers Estate Agents, Poole for the excellent support they gave myself and my sister during the marketing and selling of our late parents home. They gave good advice about marketing and pricing based on good local knowledge. We were constantly kept up to date about viewings and potential buyers. Neither of us were local so we were completely dependent on the Meyers team. They hand held us all the way eventually leading to a buyer and a suitable price. The whole team were fab but the icing on the Meyers cake is their sales progression service - Emily - who kept us informed and supported through a prolonged and stressful process eventually leading to completion.

If I could give 6* I would..

My partner Megan and I have nothing but praise for Meyers. Having had an awful experience with another local estate agent, you could say we were a bit apprehensive with having to start viewings again. Thankfully we were the lucky ones out of 11 other families who viewed this particular house and as of the 29th March we have now moved in. Our particular lettings agent Amy was great throughout, whatever we needed we had an answer or it was sorted quickly for us, which in today's climate helps take the stress out of sorting out contracts, payments and general go between from us and the landlord. To top off a great process, we have received a new home card from Amy and a bottle of prosecco which is a great little touch! Both Megan and I would like to thank Amy and the rest of the team for a good experience and we will be definitely looking to use Meyers in the future.

Exceptional service from Meyers Estate Agents. Claire was fantastic from start to finish, incredibly helpful and friendly. We were relocating from Manchester, so logistically it wasn't the easiest of moves, but it was made as seamless as possible, due to the hard work and commitment from Meyers. Claire went above and beyond what is expected from an estate agent, and was readily available to answer any questions and offer advise whilst we were back in Manchester. Claire was very quick with all responses, and all communication was second to none. Claire liased with our estate agents who were selling our property, removing any additional stress from ourselves. Highly Recommended

I recently bought a property and Brad at Meyers Shaftesburys was the vendors Agent. I cannot recommend Brad highly enough. He always responded to emails and calls, always within a very short space of time, and was pleasant and professional. I have no intention of selling anytime soon but would definitely recommend Brad as your estate agent! If it hadn't been for Brads prompt attention on our exchange date it is very unlikely we would have managed to exchange.

We recently moved from Surrey to Tolpuddle, it wasn't long after the Covid19 restrictions had been lifted and estate agents had just started operating again, albeit on reduced levels. We were very fortunate that once the sale had been agreed, the branch allocated us Pauline Hibberd. From this point to completion, Pauline was great she liaised with the vendor, both sets of solicitors and constantly kept all parties updated, minimising any gaps and potential frustrations, She was certainly a credit to Meyers and helped to ensure our experience was as pain free as possible.

Claire is a star!!

Despite the challenges of Covid working with Meyers and in particular Claire made our house purchase as painless as you could have wished for. From start to finish Claire was always available to provide advice and progress discussions and negotiations with all stakeholders in a professional and personable manner. I cannot recommend Claire and therefore Meyers highly enough. My fiance and I were further pleasantly surprised when on handover we were handed a welcome card and bottle of Fizz!! Engaging Meyers was the best decision we ever made. Moving is a complete minefield from beginning to end, having a caring agent who is up to date on every aspect of the sale & in contact with you 24/7 is invaluable. Claire & Richard simply knew what was required & really took all the worry from us, we knew our sale was in competent hands. Any queries we had were answered quickly, fully & had usually been dealt with before we asked. Now dealing with another agent for our purchase & the difference in the quality of service is shocking. Local, knowledgeable & experienced agents that we would not hesitate to recommend.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I'm perplexed as to how people have rated Meyers and the team as "outstanding" when it was nothing but a horrifying experience letting properties through them. Our first short term let in Christchurch showed us the entire team's inefficiency and then sadly, we had no choice but to go through them again because the next property we wanted to rent was also listed through them. Let's not forget when we were being coerced by George Thornton into choosing a property that was clearly way too small for our family's needs! He was trying to force us into a property that was either owned by a friend of his or somehow he had a vested interest in, even though we repeatedly told him we weren't interested in going through with that property! When they say a property is managed by them, please everyone BEWARE! That undoubtedly means nothing will ever get done or actioned! We had mould build up in the first short term let due to poor ventilation and extractor fan issues in the property and promptly reported the issue to Meyers to have it looked it. Unfortunately, not only was nothing done but rather, after check out, they tried to blame us for the mould and tried to wrongfully take money out from our deposit by citing that we must not have taken care while showering! I mean what more can be expected of us as tenants other than keeping the bathroom door opened, including the bedroom door and even the bedroom window and all this in the winter! It would be absolutely absurd for them to expect us to now also keep the main door of the property open just to air things out! The nerve of this company to insinuate that even after everything we did to ensure the property was left in a better condition than we found it in, that we didn't "dust" some of the windows so are now liable to pay for cleaning services EVEN THOUGH we actually received the property in a state where there was dust noted everywhere in the pre-tenancy report! STEER CLEAR OF THIS AGENCY IF YOU WANT A GOOD EXPERIENCE! GO TO HOUSE & SON OR BERKLEY'S INSTEAD! We had impeccable experiences with them even though sadly we didn't end up renting through them!

Absolutely fantastic, highly professional estate agent with a super fresh approach to marketing, advertising and promoting properties. Would highly recommend Meyers to anyone who is looking for a new house sales experience. Mine was certainly not a standard property to sell, but with Meyers - 17 weeks from initial contact to completion including the time out for Christmas and New Year, and, all in the middle of the pandemic and 2 lock down periods. Brilliant all round.
