The excellent customer service from Bonnie, the sales executive, whose professionalism, patience, knowledge, guidance and hard work is truly appreciated. Additionally, post-sale the site manager and his team have been extremely helpful and on-hand at all times. Great first impressions

Although I don’t have anything to compare in terms of buying a home from a plan. Bella has been not just knowledgeable, and able to respond to every question she had been experienced in the pace of information needed. She appreciates how there are lots of decisions, happy choices but lots of them. We went down to the Northallerton site and had a really positive first impression of the show home and overall quality. Northgate was very much a building site at Christmas.

This developer refuses to fix any…

This developer refuses to fix any snagging issues raised during the warranty period once the warranty period expires. They ignore emails and phone calls in the hope that you will simply go away. Dreadful company. We are now enacting NHBC and potentially legal proceedings against them. In response to their reply - they attended, made the issue worse and now refuse to attend again.

Yet another problem dealing with Lovell’s

After numerous problems with our new build house in Cwmbran, we find ourselves in yet another situation with Lovells. We claimed through NHBC for a damp problem in an external wall. The problem is that the MgO boards have failed causing internal damage. Eighteen stressful months later our claim got accepted. The work required to replace the failed MgO board has been offered to Lovells, which NHBC has said they’ve accepted. Apart from a visit in March when they removed bricks in various places in the wall in question, we’ve heard nothing since. NHBC have said Lowell’s are not answering their calls or emails. We have also tried to make contact.

Great experience

There had been an issue with our front door lock and a need to replace the skirting in a part of the kitchen due to a subsequently fixed leak. Tom of Lovell Homes attended twice in a span of 3 weeks to sort everything out professionally. Our door lock works perfectly now and the skirt board and it's surrounding walls look new and shiny thanks to Tom's thorough touching up. He is also friendly, patient and courteous. There is another issue that is still outstanding, which may become the subject of another review, but on this occasion, we are very happy with how quickly and neatly the issues were dealt with by Tom and LH.

The two lovely ladies we met were Jo and Ellie. They are both very friendly and were very welcoming and happy to show us around the show houses and able to explain everything about the property we were interested in buying.The following day we went back for another appointment were Ellie went through all the paperwork with us and answered all our questions.She also helped us choose are carpets and flooring,nothing was to much trouble for her.After a long two years of trying to sell our flat and buy a house we are really excited about moving into our lovely new home in the new year.Kind Regards Debbie and David Crisp

Brilliant sales service at Briarswood

A few months ago while toying with the idea of putting the house on the market, we popped into the sales office at Briarswood. UPDATE - 23OCT24 (1 Star Review)The below was our experience with Lovell when we initially engaged formally back in December 2023. We are not even a year on, and oh what a different place we are in now.....Glow Garren - Hamilton (South Lanarkshire)Lovell Homes Glow Garren. The only poor quality property we have ever owned. The remedial works carried out have been pitiful, poor standards, incomplete work and a very defensive response. Despite earlier positive signs of a more engaging and supportive approach, that has since lapsed. The response from managers who are supposedly customer focused is at best defensive and arrogant. We will never buy another Lovell Home again! We took possession of our property March 2024, we have been more than patient! Pathetic.......DEC 2023 (5 Star Review)After a particularly long and complex journey to get here, we have just reserved at Glow Garren. Anne-Marie has been absolutely amazing! The level of focus and support has been second to none and has culminated in our decision to buy with Lovell. Jackie has latterly assisted with some of the process, and so thank you for all her support too. We are feeling very confident moving forward with our property purchase in early 2024!

My mother & father are currently purchasing a new home and relocating, and leaving a home that my father has lived in for 79 years. Mandy who we have met through the purchasing of the property has been great and very mindful of the needs of my parents and has walked them through the process all the way. last week when they visited to start the process of selecting their flooring, again, Mandy was outstanding with the help she gave them, and what was one of the nicest touches, was, when Mandy introduced them the Mark the aftercare operative, as he assisted with all the questions, and answered them, all which gave so much comfort to them, that there is some one on hand to support, as this is such a massive move.keep what you are doing.

Jordan is a real asset to your company

Jordan is a real asset to your company, he is a perfectionist and takes pride in what he does, which we hope will be recognised by Lovell. As for the lack of communication your end, lack of planning, poor workmanship carried out previously and the sheer amount of visits to rectify these issues and to get to this point, I can only describe as appalling. I have had to use countless days off work and stay home waiting while you either don't turn up as you've booked us in on the wrong date to what's been agreed or you call to change the appointment on the day or you just can't complete work we've agreed in the given time so you have to return yet again. There's been no consideration to us as the customer, we have had to accommodate Lovell every single time, we've not been listened to and our issues haven't been taken seriously which has caused a lot of stress during a time that should feel special and exciting. When we first moved in we were so happy with the experience and as time has gone on its become a nightmare having to deal with Lovell. We haven't been made to feel like a valued customer and no sincere apology has ever been given.This 5* review solely reflects Jordan and Sienna as I would be giving a 1* if it wasn't for Jordan fixing the issues and the way Sienna took the time and care to listen and plan for these to finally be rectified.

Great customer service

I arranged to view an apartment on the London Road development in Wymondham. The sales team of which Ellie was a member of staff were very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. Ellie didn’t rush my appointment, she talked me through all the options available and explained throughly what was included and the upgrades which also available.
