I have been renting through Hamptons for over 8 Years. Easily approachable with any issues and always delt with in a professional manor. Angela Parn my agent is excellent. Always friendly and very professional to her position. Angela has always sorted out any queries or problems I have encountered with ease. Hi Julian - just a quick note to say thanks for your support over the last 16 months. You’ve been great at answering my endless emails about the house and dealing with all the issues. It’s such a shame that we didn’t have the best experience with the house but in any event, you’ve been very professional and helpful all the way through.

We rent an apartment with Hamptons and now when we have some issues the company is ignoring us! They don't reply to my emails and never call back. So I am stuck with the issue I have and NOBODY replies. I sent emails to several employees, customer service, twitter - no reaction at all! I have no idea what to do now. Totally unprofessional. I think most of the good reviews here are FAKE. Beware.

I'm currently renting from Hamptons Marlborough and to date have had a pretty bad experience with their use of suppliers to carry out work, a simple toilet mechanism that was allegedly fixed using glue!!! And I am now in the 8th week of being without an oven, apparently because I gave too much notice as to when the oven could be fitted out is now out of stock. Seems like they do everything they can to penny pinch on repairs to maximise their profit

This is a rating for the letting and management service. Lettings service from the East Sheen branch is fine, they found tenants in a reasonable amount of time and getting contracts signed was straightforward. I would give lettings 4/5.However the property management service is incredibly poor and unprofessional given the 'prestige' of the Hamptons brand. I used this service for my rental property for two years and experienced a number of problems - simple maintenance issues taking multiple visits to resolve, contractors being poorly briefed, double or incorrect charges and unnecessary work being performed. Dealing with the service was painful for both myself and the tenants. I've now switched to an independent property management company and am getting a much more professional service. Moral of the story - avoid at all costs!

We have recently moved into a property that was rented and managed by Hamptons in Sunningdale. Julian has worked incredibly hard to solve end of tenancy issues for us. He has been a pleasure to deal with, always answers our queries immediately and updates us on a regular basis. The service we have received has been exceptional and we would definitely recommend working with Julian.

While we have had some trouble with Hampton's in the past, we are giving 5 stars purely due to our new property manager Alex who resolved a blocked drain outside our flat (causing flooding) as quick as possible. He really want the extra mile calling several different companies to find someone who could help us immediately and was polite and friendly despite our relentless messaging about the issue. Thanks, Alex!

GoogleBought our flat from Aidan at Hamptons and when we wanted to upgrade we went straight back. They found us a buyer straight away and when our sale fell through kept our buyer on board. We eventually found and completed on our new flat. If you want a flat in Paddington basin area they are the ones to go to. We had a bad experience with another local estate agent, shame Hamptons didn't get to sell the flat we wanted, would have made our life a whole lot easier. I felt I could trust Hamptons staff.

Been waiting for over a month to get back my deposit, after renting a property serviced by Hamptons for over 3 years. Very disappointed with the service, avoid !EDIT: another month has passed and I still haven't gotten my deposit. Poor customer service!

GoogleWe have recently sold 2 No. Flats in the Paddington area through the Paddington office of Hamptons. Over the past 5 or 6 years or so we have built an excellent working relationship with both the Lettings and the Sales departments of Hamptons in Paddington. When we bought the two Flats to Market we spoke to the three leading local Estate Agents and Hamptons came across as the most professional and the most in touch with the state of the Paddington Property Market. We gave Hamptons sole instructions (as we have done so successfully in the past). They were successful in selling the Properties for what both they and ourselves independently thought that they were worth. I would particularly like to highlight the role played by Gaby Tang who handled the Purchasers of both Flats and a few little problems they raised in a highly competent and professional way. We certainly benefited from the firmness of her approach and I believe the Purchases did as well. They will be involved in all of our future dealings in the Paddington Area (we have a modest portfolio in W2) and I would happily recommend both Gaby and Hamptons Paddington to any prospected buyer or seller.

GoogleI bought a property in Bayswater through Hamptons. I've dealt with a wide range of estate agents, both as a buyer and a seller, and found the Hamptons estate agent Aidan Coates easily the most professional of all. Some agents bombard you with many properties; he was selective and everything he showed me was close to my criteria. He responded promptly to all enquiries, always providing detailed information, and worked hard to expedite the sale process, which was particularly appreciated due to my tight timeline. Even though he officially works for the vendor, he was very helpful and fair to me also. If I sell the property, he will be my first port of call. Thank you!
