I recently went for a viewing with this organisation via one of their agents Ramez, and the experience was surreal to say the least with multiple red flags including threatening agents and a zero tolerance policy on ASKING to protect deposits via a government backed scheme. I usually don't do reviews but I feel it is important for other people to know the kind of people you will be dealing with. I first saw an ad on SpareRoom and when I contacted them they said that the room had gone but that they would show me others (which is a red flag in and of itself). One of the rooms seemed pretty good and so I arranged a viewing for it. I met Ramez outside the property and looking back I really should have ended my experience with them there and then. He proceeded to talk negatively at length about the tenants at the property, which baffled me as it was regarding the tenants that would be moving out and so didn't even concern me, but he ended up spending around 10 minutes talking about them before we even got in to view the room. When I arrived the room was still lived-in and had a lot of furniture, a lot more than was in the original advertised pictures sent to me by the representative Ramez. There were 3 wardrobes and 2 chest of draws, originally pictured were 2 wardrobes and 1 chest of draws. I asked at viewing if I could remove any furniture to which Ramez replied "all of this can go if you like" (verbatim). When outside I asked again about how and when furniture could be removed, Ramez asked how much I would like to remove and I asked if 'all of it could go?', to which his tone changed and he said 'no, we can't remove that much'. I was a bit surprised and told him 'you just said upstairs that I could remove all of it', and he said that he would need to check with his people if there was any available storage, which I found fair. I also asked whether the deposit is protected by a government backed scheme to which Ramez said 'no' as it 'costs too much'. I asked how much and he said £25 to protect the deposit which is a relatively small value. I even offered to pay half of it to ensure it would be protected; however, later on THIS seemed to be a very sensitive subject for Ramez and Diamond Locations. The next day I contact Ramez and told him I would like to take the room but that I would like some of the furniture removed. He told me that his people did not want to remove anything. I asked if the room could be returned to the original condition it was in the picture he advertised to me (which was only taken a year ago) which had 2 wardrobes and 1 chest of draws, to which Ramez started to shout at me saying "you keep changing your mind! First, you don't want any furniture now you some furniture!". Needless to say I was taken aback and confused as I believed I was helping him out coming to a COMPROMISE! I explained the basic concept of 'comprise' and 'negotiation' to Ramez to which he cycled over the same point about how I 'changed my mind' and shouting at me while doing so. To anyone reading this who might not know me you may think this is just someone being overly sensitive but trust me Ramez completely switched and SHOUTED down the phone, over me trying to come to a COMPROMISE (which while writing this I actually made me laughed out loud just thinking about how insane that it!). We decided to part ways, I thought that if this was the way he/his organisation treated people then I would not want to be any part of it going forward. But one thing struck me, during Ramez tirade he brought up me asking for my deposit to be protected in a manner like I had the 'nerve' to even ask for such a thing. THIS really caught my attention and his serve reaction to protecting deposits and makes me believe that this coupled with me being able to articulate myself well enough and use their own words against them made me a threat; to which I can only deduce that they prey on desperate people whom most likely their first language isn't English. A lot of red flags, I'd advise to stay away.

I genuinely had the best agency experience so far and I have lived in a few countries and many places. Always available for any help or issue one can have in the flat. Leo and Amir will always be there when it is needed. PS : Amir was passing by when I was moving out and he even helped put my things in the car without me asking for anything. Great experience and will definitely have them in mind for any future flat hunting!

Leo and Ramez are an amazing friendly and helpful team who will always rush to help or provide an answer should you call them with a question. Many times I have been surprised by the fact that they even answer to my measages late in the evening after working hours if I texted them after work. They truly care and will give you the best possible service. The properties that they represent are by far one of the best ones I've seen. As someone who is very clean and tidy hygiene is something I really care about, so I am happy to have found such a nice home.
