Hannah Wicks has been assisting me with respect to Tenancy Management, i have found her by far the most diligent person at Dexters. She always keeps you informed and drives matters forward which is important for a Landlord because it gives you peace of mind that and that you dont have to continually chase the agents up for updates. Professional & Smooth

They are very professional and responsible. I dealt with one of the agents, Frankey Hauxwell, to find a rent for me. She was very passionate, patient, and helpful. She contributed a lot to my property search and found a quiet, safe place to live for me within my budget. She’s also very friendly and professional. She got all communication done with the landlord in one day. Such efficiency is rare to find due to my past experience.I also met some frustrating problems during my reference check, and, thanks to Frankey again, all problems were solved in a very efficient way. In all, my property search was very smooth because of their professionalism, and I highly recommend Frankey. She would definitely make the whole experience better!

I really don't want to work with them ever again

When I was renting the estate agent Henry Liu was informed by myself that I am in the process of buying a house so I'm not comfortable entering a 2 year tenancy, he assured me I can leave any time.That was a lie. They very merciless and cruel scolding me in each call telling me it's not possible to leave, I contacted the actual landlord on LinkedIn and was able to negotiate my freedom, I paid £5,000 they kept my deposit and I was able to leave.2 years later I contact Dexters to sell my house, they give very little time to prepare and they were very slow. And they recommended I leave my house while people view it but they never call to let me know when I can go back home. And they take a week before telling me any feedback

the worst property managers

My experience with Dexters has been a complete disappointment. Their incompetence is evident in the way they handle maintenance issues. Despite reporting a broken window over a year and a half ago, they have failed to address the problem. Communication between team members is non-existent, and their overall attitude, especially Busha's, is rude and unprofessional. I strongly advise against dealing with Dexters as they have shown a complete lack of care for their tenants and property maintenance.

Oren Ivgi was really great helping me find a property and get all the paperwork ready promptly.I couldn't make it on time for the viewing we had initially arranged but the team at Dexters St John's Wood was extremely accommodating and helped rearrange it for later that same day. Water Leaking from Ceiling for Four Weeks, Unresolved Issue at William Court

I have had a very disappointing experience with Dexters as a tenant. I reported a leak in my top-floor flat at William Court on 22 October, and despite constant follow-ups, the issue has still not been resolved. Even after four weeks, I have received no clear communication, diagnosis, or action plan, and I have had to live in the flat with water leaking from the ceiling when it rains.

Bad coordination and service

We dealt with the tooting branch to rent a place in the area. Agents were friendly welcoming and eager to find us a place. which sounds great but the snag is after you get the property. The agent showed us the place and was very quick with communication and doing checks and the property was robustly secured for us. Firstly, Dexters claim they have the best high finish properties. the property we got we discovered after living for few months was an old place with old carpets, with rats and mice, with loose window frames, so poor heating, and of course mold was appearing in the kitchen and bathroom. the contract stated the place should be deep cleaned , this never happened, the amount of dirt , hair on carpets and grease in the kitchen we cleaned cannot be described. the agents felt very annoyed when we were contacting them for issues in the first few weeks, and one of the responses was this is the property you saw and signed for so we can't help you. Although we saw the property at a time it was still occupied and supposedly will be deep cleaned.Moreover, the coordination !. when we contact the agency they say contact the landlord. when we contact the latter they say to contact the agency. no one knew or wanted to know what their role was.The contract stated a lot of stuff that Dexters did not comply to and we did not realize it immediately as we were new to the country and naive enough to trust we are dealing with a reputable agency. first as mentioned before the cleanliness of the place, second -we were never checked in by any agent or landlord, they asked us to pick up the keys from agent.- we never received any document with the inventory count which many agencies and private landlords provide and is nice to have. - we never received a proof for the deposit being held in a secure scheme as mentioned in the contract.When the tenancy ended, we were checked out by the landlord. and went waiting to be contacted for the deposit never heard anything after 20 days we contact the Landlord they say Dexters are dealing with the deposit. When we contact dexters they say that we need to reach an agreement with the Landlord and then they email them to realease the deposit. I asked if the landlord is aware of that they reply saying Oh they should maybe drop them an email. I would have expected a good agency to to this instead of asking me to !After we informed the landlord of the process which dexters should have explained to them. the landlord took time to feedback so we only heard back after sending an email highlighting their non compliance to deposit rules. The landlord replied and said they asked for deposit release, Dexters sent a notification after 5 days saying deposit will be released within 10 days. and we go the deposit after 3 weeks ! That was a long story. But our experience with Dexters was awful. maybe it is a coincidence. But for me they are the last agency to deal with on my list. After dealing with private landlords and now with an another agency I realized how bad our experience with them was.Take home message, read the contract well and be vigilant to ask about every point especially with DExters.

I have always enjoyed an excellent service over the 2 properties that Dexters manage for me. We have had excellent tenants and there is prompt communication when problems arise. Christian Pengelly in particular has been most helpful in sorting out some pod the more difficult problems. He has a considerable knowledge of tenancy arrangements especially of a more challenging nature.
