Despite the purchaser losing their buyer [with another agent] Chesterton’s quickly found a new buyer for their flat and rescued the chain of sale. We had such a delightful time during our tenancy thanks to her assistance. We would also like to thank Simon for assisting us on our flat-hunting journey, he provided multiple options within our parameters very efficiently and coordinated the viewing date to make it extremely convenient for us to compare and make the decision.

The team at Pendletons seem very organised; Lorna was great helping me to find and secure an apartment and Suzan made sure the moving in process was smoothly handled. To be honest I initially thought the slogan "you can depend on Pendletons" was a little on the cheesy side, but I did feel I could depend on them! Also, Rebecca, who handled the inventory on moving in, was completely awesome and genuinely interested. Would highly recommend.

We moved into a property in the area and it was a complete shambles. After speaking to George Porter at Chestertons, we were assured it would be fully furnished, but when we arrived, furniture promised in the flat, such as a sofa, was simply not there when we arrived due to previous tenants taking it with them. We were offered a small compensation amount, and when we spoke to Hannah Al-Sayyah Marla and explained it did not simply cover the costs, she threatened to hold the money they offered.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

After speaking with the team, we are aware that you were offered a fair compensation value, bearing in mind that the sofa previously in situ would have been second or even third hand. Initially you were in disagreement of the amount, so we placed the compensation offer on hold until a resolution was reached. We then received notification that you were happy to proceed with this and we sent the funds over immediately. Kara Bluitt and her team at Chestertons Fulham clearly cannot resist the temptation to take money that isn't theirs. They tried to just skim a few hundred pounds out of our deposit for no reason. When confronted with the fact that the "defects" they were keen to charge us for were actually detailed as pre-existing in the check-in inventory, they wouldn't even bother to reply. They would repeatedly blame delays on the owners. Eventually I had to contact the owners myself to resolve the matter and eureka, 4 months later, we finally have our deposit back. Throughout our tenancy, whenever maintenance issues would arise, they would send strictly their contractors, who would not solve the issue but happily charge the owners.

In this case, your landlord had originally determined to make claims indicated by the checkout report but was persuaded subsequently to remove those claims by the property management team. We are sorry that you do not view this or our interactions regarding maintenance works positively but want to assure you that any costs from the deposit are to the benefit of the landlord and we are always looking to protect our clients and tenants from unnecessary costs.We advise tenants throughout the check-out process the timescales for raising a dispute with TDS and this remained an option for you throughout. TDS will adjudicate independently and such a dispute can be raised as soon as the tenancy ends. We can see that you elected not to raise a dispute here but we are pleased that the matter was ultimately resolved.

Chestertons merger with Featherstone Leigh is a disaster. Rent coming in late what is going on?Oh I know, Chestertons delaying rent to keep a bit of interest.Anyway once my lease is up I will be off to another agent.Oh and the letting manager leaves at 4pm😱Not to mention left hand not knowing what right hand is doing.Would you like to rent one of your flats, FL already have it you fools.😂😂😂Hence you have it.

Her and her team were understanding, efficient, and know what they're doing, giving useful advice from the framework of understanding people, and also the relevant legal options. The tenant has now left, is themselves satisfied, and all ended happily.

When the flat we were buying fell through at the last minute, we asked Chestertons for help. Here, we dealt predominantly with Zoe Birch. Whilst all staff were great, Zoe stood out. Nothing was too much trouble and when we thought we would have to sleep on friends' sofas, Zoe was reassuring and proactive in sourcing a flat for us and arranging a viewing as soon as possible. Within the space of a week, she had secured the flat for us (a six month lease was what we needed) and we were approved. Once in the flat, we had one small issue with electrics and again, Zoe came through and sorted an electrician within hours of us phoning and informing her. I cannot speak more highly of Chestertons staff in Barnes but Zoe was exemplary.

We've been renting through Chesterton's for around a year now. Thanks to our main contact, Marianna Charalambous, the whole process has been quite streamlined and they've taken care of all our issues and needs for repairs (which were organised promptly). She has always been very helpful, courteous, and professional. On the down side, the whole process of being forced to go through the third party company Tenant Shop to set up things like Council Tax, water, etc. was an issue, as the third party company got it wrong and we had to redo contracts - so it was more of a nuisance than help. There should be an option to opt out of this. In any case, Marianna was very helpful also during this issue, so it all turned out well. We hope to keep working with Marianna her for long.

Managed to rent a central and spacious 1 bed flat with ease thanks to Margaret and Joyce. M showed us the flat for a viewing then arranged the letting process for us which went smoothly without much hassle. Since moving in, J has been very helpful and prompt in regards to upkeeping the flat maintenance. This is my first time renting with Chestertons and I am impressed with the service provided, usually don't go for letting agencies but I know I can trust them. Lovely staff, all very friendly.
