GoogleWe are due to complete tomorrow on both the sale of our house through Simon Miller, and the purchase of our new house- also through Simon Miller! We chose them out of convenience and nothing more, but honestly we couldn’t have asked for better estate agents.
Our home was marketed excellently with sound advice re pricing that ensured high interest. We sold to the first people through the door, but they worked hard to book a huge number of viewings within hours of it going on the market.
We were signposted to other conveyancing services with honesty in terms of value for money and workmanship. Some we took, others we looked elsewhere. There were never any pushy sales or underhand tactics- just helpful and experienced advice.
The biggest selling point I can share about Simon Miller has been the level of communication. Not only were we immediately informed on every development of our sale/purchase, but Simon Miller were proactively chasing solicitors and others within the chain at every stage. Every bit of frustration that occurs during the buying/selling process was relentlessly chased to ensure we never felt like we were treading water. This was a HUGE relief in what is normally pretty stressful!
To clarify- our agent was Tony Haskins. 10/10 professional, a definite expert in his field. If we ever moved again, I can’t imagine going to anyone else. His team seemed pretty great too, giving exactly the same service if Tony dared to take a day off (which didn’t seem to be often).
From listing our house, to completing- it has taken just over 3 months. To me this speaks volumes.
