Margi and her team are amazing and we would not buy or sell with anybody else. We first dealt with Margi when we moved into West Hallam and she sold us an amazing house back then and really cared about not just the sale but us as people. I strongly advise against anyone considering hiring the services of this company for the purpose of letting your property. Ranging from complete incompetence on most levels, bad accounting and straight-up lies, Margi Willis caused my family much distress over an extended period. Bad communication, lack of attention to any detail whatsoever, lack of care or follow-up to any events involving a property, the list goes on. The basic point of a letting agent (for a landlord) is to remove the stress of day-to-day managing of a property. In reality, I was managing Margi Willis and her employees to manage my own property. Absolutely incompetent and careless company whom I nearly took legal action against.

Completely agree with Ben here, had exactly the same experience. Awful estate agents, unprofessional and the organisation throughout is non existent. They gave us false information throughout for months which completely wasted everyones time for no ones gain. Margi Willis estates made the whole process, of what should have been a straight forward sale, the most stressful experience of my life! Don’t waste your time. A larger firm did a far better job in my experience!

Did not bother to call a client to get viewing feedback so they were not given the opportunity to offer on a property, offer then put forward but did not bother to let me know it was declined due to "not being able to leave a voicemail" on a phone that has voicemail access and another number left for contact but did not ring this number. Probably the most poorly handled experience I have had with an agent.

I've used This estate twice. First buying.. And later selling. I was really impressed as a buyer how they kept up to date and moved things along, so much so, that I didn't hesitate to use them when I sold. This is a small and friendly local office with a sales and lettings department. Highly recommended, particularly if selling locally as their local knowledge is fantastic and up to the minute.
