Quote Good afternoon we area waiting approval for the costs and the contractor will be in touch with youUnquote I've lost any hope ...The issue with damaged walls after they replaced doors on the October 31st will not be rectified in 2022 ... 7 weeks in since doors were replaced and still nothing is done ...Fauls promises, that's what I'm receiving The draft caused by this is not bearable and is causing a lot of heat loss ...

Buying a flat on this Crest development in Bushey has been one of the best things I have ever done.The flat is beautifully appointed and so comfortable. The Environment is wonderful and we are surrounded by lovely gardens which is so unusual with new developments these days.Linda Silver

Absolutely shocking company. We have had so many problems. Currently on water leak number 8. Been 11 days and still no call back. Some of my furniture has been ruined now. Phoned again this morning and was rudely spoke to yet again! Promised a call back but nothing. Will be going to the papers about everything now. Absolutely shocking!

!!Buyer beware!! Since writing the original review and reserving our plot in March 2022, the build completion date has been pushed back by a further 8 months. The original estimate was August - October 2022; then it was pushed back to November 2022; a few weeks after we were told December 2022 and the very last estimate ventured was June 2023!! 15 months to build a small, 4 bed townhouse!!!!Even with this revised estimate, no guarantees have been given; Crest are abysmal at project planning/scheduling, purchasing materials and labour management. They quote completely unrealistic timescales to rope you in and then let you down in spectacular fashion, post-reservation. From speaking to other buyers on this estate, it seems as though this is a common experience.We're about to lose our second buyer due to the delays and Crest simply don't care, now that they have our reservation fee and are selling houses with the same layout and smaller gardens for £12,500 more. Every few months, after numerous calls and emails to chase progress, I'm told we're delayed with little to no explanation and sympathy given.They've delayed the build beyond the length of a typical mortgage offer, so no prospective buyer is willing to wait/can realistically proceed to buy our existing property and enable the move. Who can blame them?! Our mortgage offer alone has gone up by £2,400, due to rising interest rates. It stands to go up by as much as £7,200 if delays increase. Our estate agent, previous prospective buyers and my family are all are pulling our hair out.Despite the ineptitude at their end and constant deferrals, Crest insist you're sold STC, otherwise they have the right to re-market the plot you've reserved. They operate with underhanded terms, weighted entirely in their favour. They're unwilling to compromise, don't find or provide fair solutions and compensation for expenses incurred, due to their incompetence. They rely on bullying buyers into thinking there's no alternative but to accept business on their terms. Think long and hard before buying from them, as it's been one of the most stressful, frustrating, demoralising processes I've ever experienced. Chances are, our sale will collapse through no fault of our own. We're devastated...
