Lynne and Laura were excellent., professional and friendly from the very first contact. They were closest with their appraisal of value and achieved a much higher price for me than two other local agents estimates. They obviously know their market well. Once a buyer had been found they kept me informed and even though the first purchaser dropped out for personal circumstances they got straight back at it and found me a second buyer quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Declan James and will definitely use them myself next time.

We have just recently sold our house with Declan James. Lynne the sales manager did the initial visit and gave us a market appraisal. She was extremely helpful and friendly with lots of helpful advice. The photographs taken were stunning and really showed our property at its best. We had several viewings almost immediately some were done by Declan James and some were done by ourselves. We sold our property for above asking price which we were thrilled with! Throughout the whole process although we did have a few ups and downs with the conveyancing process, Lynne was always there to help communicate between our buyer and solicitor and the Estate agent dealing with the house we were purchasing to help move things along and to offer us support. We are now settled into our new home and could not be happier. Do not hesitate to choose Declan James if you are looking to sell your property as they offer a fantastic service for an excellent price. They are an amazing team of professionals who we would highly recommend!!

My experience with Declan James has been brilliant.Jenny Ali and especially Michelle are very hardworking.There telephone manner with help or support and assistance with any issues that may need exploring is just fantastic .The turn around can be literally days as me and my partner call it express delivery! Theyve been known to go the extra mile and even occasionally reply whilst on annual leave which is pretty rare really! so thought I would give them the review they deserved all the staff are so hardworking 👏 well done :)

Declan James rob me of £1074 each year for doing almost nothing for the "estate" where my flat is. They call it a "service invoice". I can't say what they're like as an estate agent, but as far as I'm concerned, they are nothing more than commercial parasites! I have no choice but to keep paying them, and I really resent it!

I have been renting from Declan James now for over two years. I can say at first they seemed to be genuinely alright. However within the last year or so they have gone very west. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. I honestly have had a nightmare with them this last few months as I have decided to leave the property. There mis-communication from there advisors is ludicrous. The pressure you have to put on them to have the appropriate response is ridiculous. I have been waiting for a response from the manager for the last 4 weeks. I strongly recommend to stay away from this company if you know what’s best for yourself.
