I had a wonderful tour with Holly from Bridgeford's Stockton Heath. I didn't feel rushed and she was very attentive, patient with all my questions and built a quick rapport with me. She always answered the phone and emails professionally and gave thorough and informative replies, always keeping me in the loop as my application for my new rental progressed through all the stages. The worst out there, put us through so much drama, very stressful and mentally draining, their mortgage broker is absolutely useless, 4 months later we were declined, absolute waste of time, waste of energy, they just didn't want us to buy it for some reason, maybe because we are a different skin colour to them! Stay away from the burnley branch, good lord, how do they get away with this bs.

Bridgefords are the worst estate agents i have ever come across, i am so glad i did not decide to sell my house with them! They never answer the calls, constantly leaving voicemails, very rarely they call you back! I viewed a property with them a week or so ago & no follow up phone call the following day, I wanted to make an offer , left several voicemails & nothing! Please avoid Bridgefords at all costs. They are the worst estate agents i have ever come across. Please stay away!

GoogleI have very recently sold my home with Bridgfords. I cannot recommend the company enough. Shannon was the main estate agent for the sale and was amazing. She always responded quickly, kept me updated, was friendly, warm and empathetic to the situation - she even supported me when I left my house and was upset on the phone to her! If Shannon wasn't available (house viewings etc), Caroline and Deb were equally as supportive and dealt with my queries etc in Shannon's absence. I was always made to feel very welcome when I popped into the branch and never felt I was taking up time (I like a gab!). The photographer was brilliant too. In addition, I used other services provided/suggested - conveyancing, surveying and mortgage - again all excellent. Two family members are now using Bridgfords due to my recommendation. Thank you all so much!

Booked in a valuation with Bridgfords. They called the following morning at 830 which was very efficient. Was advised over the phone that this would take 30 minutes. Had a phone call from the Sale branch on the morning of the appointment. Asked if i intended to put my house up for sale, said it would be dependent on the equity we have in the house. He said the valuation would take and hour and a half and he could send a virtual valuation. It sounded like the guy couldn't be bothered at all. If this is the level of experience you get from someone that is trying to get your business, I would hate to think about the experience you would have selling through this place. Really poor service!

Have reported manager to property ombudsman. Bridgfords agreed a one percent sale fee to sell grandmothers property. The branch manager, Tammi Moulton, then completed the sale contract on our behalf, changing the fee to 'percentage of asking price' without consent - leading to an increase in fee by hundreds of pounds. This is, of course, unethical, illegal and we are challenging this. Add this to poor service, poor marketing of the property, and poor attitude of the staff members, in particular Tammi Moulton, and I don't think it is possible to find a worse estate agent in Staffordshire. Needless to say, I would avoid using.

To use a phrase, Bridgfords / Countrywide are an omnishambles, when it comes to being a landlord's agent. Landlords - Do yourselves and your tenants a favour and choose a different agent. You will end up doing just as much work managing Bridgfords (actually Countrywide) as you would managing any issues directly yourself. Two particular incidents that wound me up were when they charged us for work done by a decorator, which the decorator later admitted was never carried out; and secondly after forgetting to charge a tenant for costs due to them, they charged us instead, after deposit refund - without agreement or notice (money they still refuse to refund).

Called multiple times to try and get a viewing booked in. Was told multiple times someone would call me back. Got bored of chasing them. They seemed far more interested in getting me to speak to their mortgage broker, and I hadn’t even viewed any houses with them yet! I have no idea how they manage to sell any houses. Quite clearly a load of sales people trying to hit targets and not actually that bothered about selling houses.

We primarily dealt with Shannon who went above and beyond at every step of the process and made sure everything was running smoothly always keeping us in the loop and offering fantastic support and advice during each step of the process! Shannon and the other members of staff I had the pleasure of dealing with (Caroline, Deb and Ashley) were responsive, enthusiastic and supportive throughout! Communication was first class! Very pleased with their service!

GoogleCannot recommend Bridgfords highly enough. I posted on a local group page on Facebook and 90% of the responses recommended Bridgfords. Caroline came round to value our home and immediately won both myself and the wife over with her enthusiastic and professional approach. Photo's were arranged for the Wednesday, went live Friday morning, 8 viewings booked for the following day within 6 hours of being live, then we accepted an offer well over asking price the same day. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We dealt most with Caroline and Deb, but they all worked brilliant together as a team towards our completion. Poor Deb was generally our "go to" person, liaising with us, our solicitor, buyers solicitors, buyers agents, etc. Thanks again to all

GoogleBridgfords have been what can only be described as amazing! My partner and I had a few valuations done that we were not happy with and then Caroline from Bridgfords came along and not only got us what we were looking for but more! It didn't end there though, between Caroline and Deb, they helped us find our forever home and made a very stressul situation so much easier. The level of customer service we recieved was exceptional and this only added to what we already deemed great value for money. There is a reason their sold signs are popping up all over Penketh and the surrounding areas and that is because I truly believe they go above and beyond to help you sell your house for the right price or buy your dream home all whilst making you feel like number one. TrustpilotWell what I can say! SHOCKING SERVICE.
Well what I can say!! After 7 years we have had enough and made the decision to move after countless problems. I am now having to move away from the area I grew up in and also I have to let my pet dog go after all the problems and YES BRIDGFORDS YOU ARE TO BLAME!!!! When we moved into the property it was just about habitable, it should not of been presented in the way it was but we were desperate. Over the years we improved the property ourselves and made it a nice home and we genuinely felt at home. Problems included heating pump problems, shower problems, we were left without a gas hob for 6 weeks, had to live practically off ready meals. Roof leaks, boiler problems which take weeks or even months to resolve. The penultimate decision to move was made when we were left without heating over the Christmas period, the house ended up like an ice box to the extreme causing massive distress to us and our young children, but they just don't care, waiting days and days for quotes to be accepted. Money comes before Health and Safety with these guys and to top it off we are being harassed to arrange viewings for new tenants, absolute joke. Unlucky for them is that I know property law, probably better than them and I have the right to refuse access to them until tenancy agreement ends. No one from the agency has ever been out to inspect the property in 7 years but they are willing to show people around, for they all know the property could be trashed. Absolutely unprofessional, some staff should be nowhere near the business of real estate. I think they think that payment of rent is just for the property, its not you pay rent for a service to which you do not get! DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY FROM BRIDGFORDS. Its just a shame it has come to this but they are to BLAME FOR IT ALL!! SIMPLE. GOOD LUCK TO WHOEVER MOVES IN!!

Absolutely shocking , no chase ups , no progress or updates for my purchase, no follow up , consequently a £400 k purchase failing at the last minute , not qualified to sell houses correctly, , complete garbage im afraid , cost me thousands in abortive fees , totally lied to & lead down the garden path. A waste of 8 months of my life , totally in shock upset & devastated

Unfortunately, i read these reviews quite late and I am in agreement with all the negative opinions about Bridgfords Withington. We tried to buy a flat, but when we told them that we have our own mortgage advisor, the communication stopped. When we tried to get updates, they would try to discourage us to continue. They went on making an offer for our maximum budget, despite only having 1 additional buyer who offered 25k less than us. Dishonesty/ lack of transparency and totally unprofessionalism, especially Richard/ Hammad. I am happy I did not use their services, and I now select properties which are not in their portfolio. Quite sure the seller has received a lower offer as well, which is a shame as the flat was superb. Avoid!

GoogleMyself and partner have been corresponding with Bridgfords in Penketh since viewing a house they were selling that we were interested in viewing. Upon viewing the property, we met a wonderful, helpful, and very friendly estate agent called Molly. Although the property we viewed and met Molly in wasn't what we were looking for, Molly was in constant contact through email and over the phone with information on potential new properties we may be interested in. She has collected feedback on each viewing we have had, answered every question we asked and has generally been a great help to us both. We are confident that with Molly and Bridgfords help we will find our forever home. Molly is a credit to Bridgfords office in Penketh. Thank you for all of your help so far. Very please with the service and result of selling my mother’s house via Bridgfords Swinton. Mike was knowledgeable and efficient. His sale price estimate was 20% higher than another local firm but he managed to achieve it. He also arranged to visit mum in her care home to complete the paperwork. Happy to recommend.

Started the journey of selling my flat with Bridgfords well, great listing, quickly found a buyer, then Bridgfords conveyancing service took over and was incompetent at every turn. 6 months on from accepting an offer I’ve had to end the sale as my mental health couldn’t handle anymore of the misleading, lies and gaslighting from their conveyancers. Was so bad even the branch staff said they were embarrassed at how bad it was.

If I could put 0 I would. My cousin gave notice that he was giving up the flat due to family and health issues. Before he was able to remove his things (within a week) they have taken his belonging and given only some clothing back. They have stolen a family air loom watch (Rolex) , cash that was for Christmas, not given back any expensive trainers .. they have drip fed some things back since like the tvs and yet to receive the Xbox, they have photos of his stuff on their report which they haven’t given back. They are not to be trusted . They are proceeding to trade non ethically and illegally. Reports to police have been made. They prey on vulnerable people
