Alex took the time to really understand what we were looking for and helped us find a fantastic home that is exactly right for us and that we could not have sourced ourselves via usual methods / platforms. We cannot recommend Alex highly enough. He helped us find our rental flat while we were relocating to London, and his support before, during, and after the move was invaluable. Alex was professional, proactive, and always available to help, making what could have been a stressful process feel seamless. While we were still in Madrid, he visited numerous properties on our behalf and carefully filtered the options, taking the time to truly understand our needs and priorities. His judgement was excellent, and by the time we arrived in London, much of the hard work had already been done, allowing us to make a decision quickly and with confidence. I met Alex after responding to a property he had listed for sale - he quickly ascertained our requirements and advised us to not waste time on that particular property as it would not suit our growing family. I really appreciated his honest and direct approach… Fast forward a few weeks and we decided to take Alex on as our buying agent. We were undecided on location but Alex specialised in the exact areas we were looking and had a huge depth of knowledge, personal contacts and rigorous approach which got us first in on off-market listings we would otherwise not have had a chance to view. Alex helped us narrow down locations, streets etc. and made our buying process seamless. He previewed properties for us and did all of the heavy lifting. We ended up closing a purchase on our dream home which had 4 other competitive offers. Forever grateful to Alex for finding and securing our dream home (which after a 2 year search we were starting to believe was impossible). He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Always felt in the safest hands knowing that his attuned communication style and expertise of the market would lead to perfectly pitched negotiations. We knew he had our priorities and best interests considered at all times, which was a relief in a space where you can so often get taken advantage of. It sounds trite and over the top, but it’s true: I never believed in my wildest dreams that I would be living where I live today and Alex made it happen! Happy to speak to anyone who isn’t sure if the investment is worth it. I would never pay a travel agent fees for example, I’m a discerning and savvy consumer who felt like they knew their way around Rightmove etc so I struggled at first to believe it was going to be worth the cost but Alex’s chaperoning and insider knowledge meant that we are able to find ways around obstacles to our purchase that we wouldn’t have been able to navigate on our own. He was super responsive and always available (and patient!) with any questions we had. Could not advocate more strongly for working with Alex on a property search.

I can't emphasise how grateful we are to have found Alex and Ridgestone Property. As first time buyers, we were looking for 6+ months with minimal luck and a lot of hassles. We lived around 1.5 hours away from where we wanted to buy, therefore we were wasting a lot of time on our weekends to travel down only to be disappointed and exhausted. With Alex, he was able to not only filter properties for us, he could also view properties, give us his opinion and a video which we could then dictate whether it was worth the drive down for us. This alone was a massive help for us, but what came after was even better. Throughout the process, Alex was able to utilise his expertise in the industry as well as his connections to assist us in finding the property, getting access where we probably would have struggled on our own and navigating the complex and somewhat painful UK property system. Alex was readily available, proactive and most of all, he was a second opinion to everything we had concerns with, he was able to provide us with logical and less emotional opinions which are crucial in a lot of aspects when trying to purchase a home, let alone your first one. We decided that we would move to London from California, and that we were primarily interested in buying a house. Being both remote, and unfamiliar with the property market in London, we decided to engage a buyer's agent to help us through the process. We found Alex at Ridgestone Properties through online search, and he was very quick to set up a preliminary interview. First thing that really stood out was how specific his questions were about our situation, what we were looking for, our "must haves", and "must nots". He presented an initial few rounds of example listings that we made feedback on, and he clearly took them to heart. We made a trip to London, and he arranged a number of viewings for that time, including an off-market viewing. He made time to look attend with us, debrief with us on the properties, and even made time to go and opportunistically look through and extra property. When we were ready to make an offer, Alex was able to make introductions for mortgage brokers and solicitors. Whenever difficulties arose, Alex was on top of it, in many cases having had conversations with the seller's agent, broker, solicitors, or contractors before we had even woken up to the messages. For us especially, being 8 hours' time zone away meant that his diligence in addressing issues as they arose reduced our turnaround time and overall stresses. Throughout the entire processes, he was able to give us good, consistent advice and feedback making sure that we had a successful completion and lining us up for a good landing in our new home in London.
