Rented with this Agency for a few years and although was a cordial relationship for most of the time, it deteriorated towards the end, as their professionalism, politeness and communication appear to have gone very much downhill. It culminated in a remarkably poorly handled retrospective rent increase with no notice given. It’s a great shame as I wanted to give them a positive review. So I would advise prospective Tenants & Landlords to exercise strong caution with considering using this Estate Agency.

Hi James - we were surprised by your review, particularly given your 13-year tenancy and the generally positive relationship we maintained throughout that time. As records and email correspondence show, we consistently aimed to provide fair and responsive management. It’s important to clarify that the rental rate for your two-bedroom garden flat in a Victorian property in Battersea remained below market value for much of your tenancy. Additionally, rent adjustments were made at the discretion of the property owner, not our agency - including a reduction granted during the COVID-19 period at your request. While we're sorry to hear that you still feel dissatisfied nearly two years after the rent adjustment mentioned, we hope this response helps provide some context and closure.

Rented a 4 bedroom house from Cochrane & Wilson in the Battersea area for 2 years. We were four young professionals all moving to London for the first time. I have to say that we could not fault the management of the property from our manager Charlene, all issues were resolved / organised to be resolved within 24 hours of being reported. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again from Cochrane & Wilson if they had a property which suited my needs. Thanks Charlene & rest of team!

Renting for 3 years with Cochrane & Wilson Ltd was pleasant and smooth. Only minor downside of this agent is the communication. Other than this, any issues occurred during our tenancy were sorted immediately and fully satisfactory.

Charlene and Alison have been extremely helpful throughout (and after) our stay in a flat managed by their agency Cochrane and Wilson. Always responsive, careful and fair. Excellent apartment, landlord and agency. Highly recommended!

We lived in a C&W flat for 19 months that was perfect for what we wanted at the time. They were quick at fixing urgent problems and we got all of our deposit back in the end - can't complain

I had to give it one star in order to submit this review, but honestly they deserve none. Absolute money grubbing and corrupted management/ landlord. Steer clear from buying or renting any properties advertised under Coachrane & Wilson. It's a disgrace, they are reaping unethical benefits for a system that is truly disgusting
