As a family we instructed Bridgfords to deal with the sale of my Mum's house. She had lived in the property for 50 years and ill health forced a move closer to family. We had several estate agents visit, choosing a mixture of high street and internet but only Bridgfords stood out for us. Although a little more expensive that other agencies, we needed a firm who would provide a first class, traditional service which is what Mum wanted and is what we got. Alex and Elaine were simply outstanding with their professionalism and understanding of the situation we were in. They were kind, courteous and beyond patient with my Mum and understood how difficult it was for Mum to make this move. Mum's house needed some modernisation but essentially was a sound property and would make a wonderful family home: Bridgfords saw the potential in this and marketed the property so effectively that we were under offer within 2 days of the open day. The sale completed without any issue. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bridgfords in Halifax to anyone. Thank you for everything.

I can't rate Bridgfords highly enough. If you're a first time buyer (or even an existing owner) and you want to get onto a great deal then make sure to see Lee Johnson! He helped make it possible to buy my home, get onto a good affordable mortgage along with life policies and home insurance - he put everything in place. After I was settled for 2 years he got back in touch and helped me re-mortgage - thus knocking off FOUR years off my 25 year mortgage on an even better deal. Not only that but he requoted the home insurance and life policies I had in place to include more benefits and at cheaper prices! Getting onto the property ladder and arranging everything is daunting to say the least however, Lee made all this easy, and possible, with his excellent customer skills. Honestly, forget going to the banks directly with these affairs. Go to Bridgfords instead! Thank you again to Lee and his team.

Lee was recommended to me by my oldest friend. She and her partner used him for their mortgage and were very happy with him. I found Lee to be very enthusiastic whilst helping me, almost as a friend would be, excited that I had found a house and doing everything he could to help me get it. Being a first time buyer, it was nerve wracking going through this process but knowing that Lee was working behind the scenes all the time was great. I also used Countrywide's solicitors at Lees' recommendation, making it so much easier for him to check up on progress and chase up anything that was necessary. The portal system that is used is great as it enabled me to see what was still outstanding and how much was left to do, but Lee also kept me updated by email and phone. Apart from the actual house, Lee was the best money I spent during this process, and will recommend him to anyone who asks, I doubt I could have done it without him.

We looked at a property with Bridgfords but didn’t like it. Despite this we were offered some mortgage advice. It was the best advice we could have had. We spoke to Lee Johnson, who quickly sourced us a mortgage offer. We found a house and the process was simple. Unfortunately this house fell through, so we spent the next few months finding another. Lee kept our file open and when we found another house, the fees we had paid were still on the account and we even received a refund for the searches as the original search on the house that fell through was not used as the process was cancelled so efficiently. We have just exchanged on our new home and would like to thank Lee for all his help and assistance throughout the process. Highly recommended.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Alex from bridgfords who is the branch manager and came to view my property in Bradford and even though I have decided not to sell, I had an amazing experience when he came to view my property, very knowledgeable about the best way to get the most money for your property and different ways to sell, explained everything to me which other estate agents did not bother with and if I was ever to list any of my properties going further it would be with him. Branch staff good, conveyancing beyond horrendous

Started the journey of selling my flat with Bridgfords well, great listing, quickly found a buyer, then Bridgfords conveyancing service took over and was incompetent at every turn. 6 months on from accepting an offer I’ve had to end the sale as my mental health couldn’t handle anymore of the misleading, lies and gaslighting from their conveyancers. Was so bad even the branch staff said they were embarrassed at how bad it was.

If I could put 0 I would. My cousin gave notice that he was giving up the flat due to family and health issues. Before he was able to remove his things (within a week) they have taken his belonging and given only some clothing back. They have stolen a family air loom watch (Rolex) , cash that was for Christmas, not given back any expensive trainers .. they have drip fed some things back since like the tvs and yet to receive the Xbox, they have photos of his stuff on their report which they haven’t given back. They are not to be trusted . They are proceeding to trade non ethically and illegally. Reports to police have been made. They prey on vulnerable people

Thank you to Lee Johnson who contacted me after viewing a house in Huddersfield and wanting to put an offer in. Me and my partner;Dominic thought we had done our research and went to three different places including our banks and with it be a week before Christmas most offices were closing foe the holiday season and we didn't want to miss out on this lovely house. Thanks to Lee is managed to knock our mortgage proposal from 33 years which was offered by our banks to 25 years with reasonable monthly payments. He helps you every step of the way and went out of his way to get us an appointment the Saturday before Christmas and squeezed us in around my different shift pattern and Dominic being in Huddersfield certain weekend as he lives at his parents in Blackburn. Lee takes you through step by step and answers any questions you may have and he will advise on what he feels what's worth it rather than most business just wanting more commission. From the start of the process to the end Lee followed through with us and even helped when communication came a bit sticky between our solicitors and the agency to help us understand where abouts in the process we were. In total it took just over 2 months to have everything completed and have a move in date. Put your trust into Lee and he will look after you :)

I have had such a pleasurable encounter with Bridgefords Halifax. I did see a few other letting agencies when deciding to pass the letting of my home to a prophesional company. No other agency came any where close to the amazing team at Bridgefords Halifax. I met Sarah (the manager) she totally put me at ease, very prophesional, Royston efficiently showed perspective tenants around my home and Emily Rawson helped and guided me with paper work, signing contract and day to day enquiries. She was kind and considerate. Nothing was too much for her. The letting process for a Landlord can be a scary world, however, choosing Bridgefords HX was deffinately a great decision which I would highly recommend. I'm totally relaxed and at ease. I am a first time buyer and didn't really know where to start with getting the right mortgage and protection for me. My brother had previously used Bridgfords when he bought his first home about 9 years ago. He had the support of Lee Johnson, Mortgage & Protection Consultant who was incredibly helpful. As he had sucessfully helped my brother, I contacted Bridgfords and received similar support. Although my brother's details are no longer on their current system, Lee remembered him and said he would make sure we got the referal bonus, which was a nice surprise. What a fantastic team of people! I intended to post something on here months ago but have been getting settled in the fantastic house Matt and the team helped us buy. From the beginning they were extremely friendly, helpful and professional and gave one of the most informative agent led viewings we had had. Matt was really excellent and was with us from start to finish to help us complete in time, they were also extremely accommodating given we lived over 200 miles away which meant that the process was as stress free as it could have been. Although we were first time buyers we felt as valued a customer as if we were buying a mansion which was really excellent. After having a previously terrible estate agent experience Matt and the rest of the team more than made up for it and we are really happy in our new property. I am so glad I came to Bridgfords. Lee Johnson, the Mortgage and Protection Advisor helped unravel a bit of a mess made by a previous Mortgage broker who attempted to submit a fraudulent application to gain a great deal. Despite Bridgfords and Lee being very busy, the service was second to none. Constantly keeping me updated. Making things move as swiftly as possible between solicitors. Being truthful at all times and ALWAYS honouring promises made, for example, calling me back even if there was no updates. Lee provides a very personalised service and his knowledge and experience is so instinctive and professional. Lee did find it challenging to find me a competitive mortgage deal due to my unusual circumstances, but he did it, when I had been turned down numerous times before elsewhere. Buildings insurance offered was offered at very competitive rates, life insurance was discussed very thoroughly. Lee made sure I understood every word of every process. Lee is persistent and very committed, hard working and passionate about his job and his standards are very high. A lovely, approachable person. I cannot recommend his services enough. When the solicitors started to cause a bit of a delay, Lee and his team cracked the whip and ensured my "case stayed" moved on swiftly. I will recommend Bridgfords and their jewel in their crown (Lee) to all of my friends.
