Totally Disgraceful. We heard that Sherry FitzGerald was a professional company, but how far from the truth was this. We sold our residential property with them. They found a buyer, but at this point everything went so wrong. A member of staff gave the potential buyer the key and let them enter the property unsupervised. We were unaware of this until we got a call from a neighbour stating the potential buyer had moved a static caravan into the rear garden by craning it over the roof. At this point the potential buyer had no insurance in place, they damaged the interior of the house and they were planning on living in the static caravan rent free before the contract was exchanged. The staff at Sherry FitzGerald did nit check the property to ensure this did not happen. You can imagine the extra stress this put on the seller as the interior of the property had been destroyed and there was a static caravan in the rear garden. If the sale had fallen through, I would have been in a world of pain as it would be up to me to put the house back to being sellable again. The directors of Sherry FitzGerald were concerned, not for the customer, but their business. We had nearly two weeks of stress and getting extra engineer reports completed. I would not recommend their services.
Dear Paul, We understand how upsetting this situation has been for you and your family. The actions taken by the third party were unprecedented, and in our 40 years of business we have never encountered such a situation before. As we previously communicated with you, once we were made aware of this incident our team proactively brought the matter to a close. We have investigated the matter in full and despite it being highly unlikely such an incident will ever re-occur, we have put extra precautions in place to protect our clients. The unauthorised actions taken by the third party were inexcusable and beyond our control. We hope that now your sale has closed you can put this distressing incident behind you. Geraldine and her staff were excellent from the outset and were extremely professional in any dealings I had with them. Geraldine is extremely honest and very hard working. She went above and beyond what I expected from an estate agent in ensuring that I received the best possible service. Geraldine is a straight talking, very hard working, capable and honest estate agent. Great to see her now getting the Sherry Fitzgerald franchise which will no doubt grow her business further. Placed an order and then there was no further update from the agent for over a month.I called them for update then the agent called back and ask what can they help me???After the call they asked me to increase the offer, it is totally fine but should be more proactive. Will not consider them in the future.

Ed Reilly came to value our home in anticipation of us going to market. After our first meeting with Ed it was clear he had a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the current market so we did not hesitate to appoint him which transpired to be a great decision. Not all sales go smoothly , however with a calm and problem solving approach the sale was completed. Ed was fantasic to deal with , always promptly returning my calls and handing any issues with the utmost professionalism as did his team in the office. For any future purchases or sales we may endeavour on within Eds scope area there would be no one else we would choose.
