GoogleHaving gone through a process elsewhere which fell apart and constantly required me to chase the agent for several months this agency was a welcome change. The agent knew the ins and outs of the agreement and acted quickly when there was new information without having to be emailed constantly for updates. Very good overall, I would use again. Can't remember what they were like for viewings as I found most properties myself and ended up seeing a lot of different agencies.

They where told over two weeks ago to realise the deposit to me by the TDI. Instead they ignored the request and said it was an admin error. When I contacted them after several attempts they promised me it would be no later than Friday. Not only has it not arrived, I am now being told it has not been processed. If I had not chased they would have still done nothing. Even though they can send the money today they won't. I have now been told Wednesday. This is not there money it is to cover rent arrears. I will never use them again I will just register the deposit with the tds directly so they can no longer make money from i

YellA complete nightmare
After travelling for two hours to see a place you would expect the estate agent to turn up. After waiting 25 mins we called them to be told that the guy was on his way. We had another place to see and couldn't wait much longer, but we did. Another 10 mins and no show, we left. After arranging another visit to the property the following week we were told a mere 10 mins before arriving that the agent couldn't find the keys to the house! We were asked to go later. We arrived at the time she said she would be there and of course she wasn't there. Twenty mins later she showed up, barely said a hello and had an unprofessional manner. We would never use these agents again. A dreadful experience.

SCAMMERS! They force you to transfer £220 to reserve property that you're planning to rent, calling every 30 minutes asking if you made a transfer and forcing you to do it faster. However, after you do that, they say that you're not applicable for the property and no refund you. No property, No refund, No support. A TRUE LEGAL SCAMMING SYSTEM. PLS AVOID AND REPORT THEM

GoogleCurrently puchasing a house through Connells and it has been a dreadful experience. The agent did not confirm the viewing and I had to chase this up. He also arrived late with no apology and appeared throroughly disinterested as if put out during the viewing. We offered on the property almost immediately and the agent was scathing towards the offer, which was ultimately accepted (clearly he was thinking of his commission). Connells then demanded copies of every imaginable personal and financial document to continue with the sale, which is clearly beyond their remit as they are the estate agent, not our lender. Most importantly, we were told by Connells that our vendor is moving to a new build which is already built. Turns out they were lying and the plot has an unknown finish date, endangering out chain. Very unprofessional, poor communication and actively rude.

We rented a property through Connells and from start to finish the customer service provided has been absolutely appalling. This business shouldn't be allowed to run the way it is, it very much feels like they are doing fraudulent things in the background. Would not recommend them to anyone not even my worst enemy.

Completely unpolite staff, they forced me to provide my personal details just to view a property and they forced me to call instead of using email although I believe we are in the XXI century. I was also ensured my email was not going to be used for marketing and guess.... next day I had tons of Colonnells emails in my inbox. Awful experience. Glad the house was awful, too as I didn't have to deal with them anymore.

Googlewe asked for an up to date valuation and out of all the agents (4 in total) Charlie-Rose offered the most comprehensive valuation compared to the others. She took the time to explain the valuation / the marketing they offer and a really in-depth intelligent conversation regarding current market conditions. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting Charlie-Rose and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I booked a viewing of a 1 bed flat in Fishponds, Bristol. After receiving no confirmation I called the office on the day to confirm, they had me on the system and said they would send me he details and see me at the viewing. When no one turned up after 10 minutes I checked zoopla to find a contact phone number to see the property was listed as no longer available. Really poor customer service,waste of time.

The worst Agents ever!Try to avoid them as they are totally unprofessional and will try to charge you some ridiculous amounts of money. We decided to let our property through them going for the full management and after 3 mouths we ended up without any payment received, as they were saying the money are bouncing back! At the moment going through endless complaints procedure! What a joke this company is ! Bunch of unprofessional people! AVOID AVOID AVOID

If you have common sense DO NOT USE! We went to view a property, the agent was rude and pre-judged our situation, which they knew nothing about. Have no customer or communication skills… Connells are completely and utterly degrading and disrespectful. How they even get custom, I do not understand! If there was a -5 I would have put that..

The valuer seemed to be a good person to chat but I would question his professional judgement. He undervalued ( compared to THE well respected local agents) the house without any justification. It didn't affect the end result as I was just switching the lender. Would have lost the property had I been a buyer.Yes he works for lenders for a measly fee but where was his professional judgement?

Unbelievably bad experience. We have been let down massively multiple times. We had major health and safety issues, unusable toilets for 2 months and we only heard promises.We had to contact Private housing at the city council to get them to do something. Unreliable would be a compliment for them. Do not use these people, seriously.I can keep going with how many problems we had but there is no point. Their ratings say it all.

Renting my first property with them, was told it would be finished for the day I got my keys, 5 weeks later I’m still waiting for my cupboard doors to be fired, my shower to be fixed and the nail sticking out of my banister to be removed. They’re quick enough to take the rent out of my account although they put me in arrears as they never took my account number for future payments.

Update: my landlord no longer uses Connells for any of his properties as they have been uselessI rented a property via the Exeter branch and was overcharged by £150 on the day I was trying to move in. The agent was rude, patronising and verging on threatening. I paid as I had no other option. When I made an official complaint I was refunded into my account with no apology. Extraordinarily expensive for very poor service.

Reasonably easy ride but no real surprise as a first time buyer and a chain free seller. Very annoyed at extra charges that were on back of the very small print in the contract, which were not pointed out and we assumed that buying a fixed fee service would be exactly that!

This company are an absolute joke...rude surveyor came and walked in with the smallest of introductions, spent 10 minutes in the house and walked out with the parting words, “the bank will be in touch”. Undervalued the property based on 2 RICS reports we paid to have over the past 18 months and now affecting our mortgage. Do not use. Apparently their valuations are “Law”. Laughable..! Can I do a minus review..?
