Catherine, Kyle and Chris, (Yateley) were always on hand if needed. Not pushy, just in the background with little updates. They were efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. We were unsure if we were going to sell when Christ came round, but he continued to reassure us that it was our decision, and they would be there, if and when the time came. Kyle spent time going over the finer details of our requirements and Catherine, well, wow, what an asset to the company. There were days when we just didn't think it was going to happen, but she was brilliant, and assisted us smoothly through. Even passing on messages from our buyer to us, and visa versa. Which I am sure was above and beyond! Thank you one and all!

From my first contact with Romans Tilehurst it was a seamless transaction. Mark was very approachable and explained everything fully and put me at ease straightaway. I later met the manager Steve who took time out to go over a couple of points for me, nothing was too much trouble and Nathan was very responsive, they are a great team, well run and very customer friendly, i highly recommend them.

We viewed a property that we loved in Caversham, unfortunately the offer didn’t go through but luckily Chloe was very quick to send us properties that were even more suited to what we were looking for. When viewing properties, she had our best interests in mind. I signed up with this agent today to see a property for sale. It’s been a nightmare thus far. I’ve had my details shared to agents in my area ( despite being listed and contracted already for the sale of my home), which I did not give permission for. I’ve had spam emails addresses to Mr, despite being the MRS with the details logged with Romans (insulting and sexist much?). I’ve had the booking cancelled because the vendor won’t do viewings on weekends (they clearly don’t want to sell, so why is it listed on Rightmove?This whole thing has been a debacle and all because I shared my email ( which I had to spell out 6 times on 2 phone calls because they got it wrong) and phone number to be listed and vetted for the viewing. These agents are muppets and so incredibly unprofessional.. don’t bother! Go elsewhere they will mess you around and breech privacy laws to boot!!!

Threatened firstly with you have to take their zero deposit scheme or the landlord won’t accept you.When we moved in, our rental house had apparently been ‘professionally cleaned’, funny how there was remains in every kitchen cupboard and mud on the carpets, must all be part of that ‘sparkle service’ we were charged for on check in.When moving out 1 years later, the inventory report they took was remarkably more detailed than the check in report on entry. We left that place immaculate, yet every tiny scuff, hole, latches added from previous tenants was attributed to us and a fine was charged.They bully you into paying or go to arbitration and pay more money for that. I will never be renting from Romans again and just hope somebody reads this and decides to save themselves the awful experience that we had. It’s the fact they actually fine you for their scams that really infuriated me.My experience from Romans left me feeling like I was a cash cow for them to milk as much money from as possible. Romans is a terrible company to consider letting from, I hope you don’t make the same mistake that we did. Let these incompetent, unprofessional and hurtful people go out of business.

We contacted number of letting agents and Companies. Some not responded at all or just make our moving hard. Finally we meet Romans Letting Reading and through their system we moved to new house just in few days. Easy, non complicated guide system, we also visited office to pickup keys, have had additional question about advice of later house purchase and mortgage. GoogleBefore going to Romans in Uxbridge, I went to a few other agents and went for three more viewings. Nobody was as positive and helpful as Romans. From the moment I went into their office Zara showed me all the available studios, she explained everything and helped me with all the paperwork, insurance, internet etc. I recommend, anyone that needs to rent in Uxbridge, go to Romans and ask for Zara!!
