We have had an outstanding experience having both bought and sold our house through Matt at Jackson-Stops. Clear, useful and importantly honest communication, ensuring progress is maintained, indeed, the pain of moving is greatly reduced when you have somebody as experienced as Matt on side.To be honest the whole team in the office were more than happy to help with queries, and all seemed to be aware of current progress whenever I called. Having bought several houses through different agents over the last few years Jackson-Stops haves been, by far, the most professional, helpful, responsive team I have had the pleasure of working with.

WOBURN OFFICE Whilst maybe not directly the fault of the Company they were acting as the agent for a property I viewed. I was contacted at 1pm to be told the Landlord wanted to accept us as tenants and all the referencing paperwork would be conpleted after giving my family the good news I was emailed by the agent to say " actually they might now be offering it to a farmhand who lives local and doesnt need any of the maintenance sorting but will let you know" After a few follow up emails I got a response to say "sorry they are letting the other person have it"As potential tenants letting Agents do a lot of quite intrusive checks before even approaching a landlird, perhaps the same thoroughness should be applied before taking on Landlords.In the space of 24 hours we went from delight to bitter dissapointment which shouldnt happen.

The Tunbridge Wells branch has managed my property for several years. They have done this extremely well. The experience has been courteous and professional, staff always available; tenants have been looked after and quickly replaced once they leave; maintenance is attended to quickly with minimum fuss; and rent has been paid-on within a couple of days of receipt. This has been very reassuring as an owner. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody else.

Well I rented a house in Tunbridge Wells with my family hoping for a long term at least 2/3 years. We where reassured by the agent Lyn McDonald The landlord have not interest to sale or change tenants but after only 7 months they send in a surveyor to value the property and just a month after repossession letter . I have moved in this house with my wife and 2 children we bought furniture, improvements made , As long term intent. I would not trust this people greedy and false . Be warned if you are dealing with them

We sat outside the property for 40 minutes waiting for the agent to show up, which she never did. When we finally got through to the office on the phone the agent who was meant to be showing us the property simply told us she had forgotten about us, with no apology offered - just a 'Can we do it another time, I can't leave the office now anyway.' A complete disregard for our time! Wholly unprofessional, and we aren't surprised that the landlords have been struggling to rent the property if the agent can't actually be bothered to turn up to viewings! We will be avoiding Jackson-Stops like the plague - and would advise any landlords to think twice before using their services!

Utterly disappointing and would recommend not using this agent. We arranged for a break clause in our tenancy contract as we knew we were likely to buy. We gave notice and moved out 5 months before the yearly contract was finished. It seems a highly unlikely coincidence that they couldn’t find a new tenant for 5 months but then could find someone to move in the day we stop paying - we have been completely taken advantage of. We know from various people who were booked to come and see the property that the estate agent didn’t show up or came with the wrong keys, just grossly incompetent and showed they had no interest in finding a new tenant until it actually would impact their own income and used us in the meantime. Avoid at all costs.

Lyn, Bronwen and the team provided excellent service and support throughout our rental process. Even after moving in, the support they've provided has been great. The heating in the property stopped working and they immediately sent round oil-filled radiators for our use while we had to wait for the homecare engineers to come round, which was greatly appreciated during the really cold spell.
