I recently completed on the sale of my coffee shop and I am so glad I put my trust in Veritas. Kristyan was superb throughout the whole sales process. He made me feel valued and gave me his time regardless of how busy he was. I felt prioritised which gave me confidence even when we faced a few challenges. Kristyan is knowledgeable and professional at all times. He was so proactive and every phone call, email or query was dealt with super efficiently. I cannot recommend Veritas highly enough and I would work with Kristyan again unreservedly.

Dean at Veritas was very helpful and always available. We had a nighmare with the landlords agent, miss communications with the landlord and a huge delay with the superior landlords. We eventually completed but this caused us untold stress and financial loss with the restaurant having to close for four weeks while the various landlords were getting their paperwork in order. Delay after delay but Veritas kept us in good spirits. Dean is highly reccommendable if you wish to sell your business.

Well where do I start! We put our business up for sale in January last year, right from the first time we met Kris he was very professional and polite. He talked through every step, from putting our shop up for sale, to accepting the offer as two novices he helped through every step. Mike was chaotic, disorganised and rude. I paid out for pre planning, planning and a valuation all the while he continued to market the property without my knowledge. He was completely unethical trying to get me to pay £6000 so I wouldn’t get gazumped (which he actively encouraged) I lost nearly £1000 in the process. I have never experienced such Bad business practice. He claimed this is how commercial sales worked....absolutely not true this is how Veritas works! Avoid!

Kate, thank you for your email and comments. After investigation i can now share my findings and comments. Mike advised you that in order to progress you would need to pay a holding deposit so that we could place the property under offer and this would then lock out other potential purchasers. Your response to this was that there was no way you would do this. Mike then explained that there are different procedures in commercial sales to residential sales and without the deposit you were at risk. Your choice was to carry on without the commitment of a holding deposit and the property was still actively being marketed. At this point Mike pointed out that if we received a better offer, we would have to make the owners aware of this.Low and behold we very quickly received a fresh enquiry with an increased offer. After consulting with the owners, our clients, they asked Mike to make you aware of the offer and to give you the opportunity to revise your offer. Your response was that you were not interested. At no time were we as a company unprofessional. We have sold many businesses and properties and have a process to protect our clients as the seller and yourself as a purchaser. We point out that you wanted to change the planning consent and convert the commercial property to residential which can take weeks. You had not even secured finance for the purchase which places our clients at risk. I understand that you were disappointed to miss out but we have a duty to our clients. We now have a deposit in place and have a sale in progress with an additional five figures on top of your offer. Our ethics remain the same and our clients protection is paramount.
