I have accumulated, a large portfolio of properties, and have dealt with over 50 + Agents in London. I believe my review is more accurate, due to my large experience.Salik and Co have managed a number of my properties over the course of the last 7 years. Rent is always paid on time, and my tenants requests, queries and complaints are dealt with efficiently. This is small fronted agency, with a very large back set up. Will always recommend.

The experience with Salik and Co over the last three years has been appalling. We have been reporting mould for the last two years with no effective action. When mandatory work has been done (such as firedoor checks) workmen have not observed the 24hr notice period in our contract. One knocked on the door, didn’t even try to explain who he was and who he worked for before trying to force his way into the house. When I didn’t let him in (and documented this with Salik and Co saying that I didn’t feel safe in my own home), it was barely acknowledged. As a house of four women our initial contact treated us with nothing bur condescension (when we could get hold of him) refusing to offer assistance when our boiler, shower and kitchen electricity all went down at the same time. When we finally got him on the phone he brushed off our assessment of the situation saying "that's for a professional to judge" before hanging up. It took many more calls and emails to actually convince him to send said professionals over. Ending our tenancy while Salik & Co have been under new management has also been a deeply uncomfortable experience. A representative of Salik & Co entered the house without warning at 11am on January 26th when our tenancy wasn’t due to end until the 27th with the intent to perform the check out meeting without a tenant present. When I encountered him, he had not read any of the emails sent the day before rescheduling the meeting. He also behaved in a deeply insensitive way to a domestic violence incident that took place within the property. Sharing the victim’s address (which she had specifically requested to keep private) with the girlfriend of the perpetrator. I have found Salik & Co to be combative in emails while also being misinformed of tenants rights and the law. To both property owners and renters, I would recommend avoiding this agency like the plague.

Everything was fine until I wanted my deposit back. The tenant that replaced me had paid his deposit so the funds were available to transfer to me, and there were no issues with my room, but 10 days later Salik still have not paid. I asked them to explain why but they refused. I've called a few times and every time they tell me that it will be a couple of days.

This letting agent are a bunch of frauds who trick their clients through various means to increase their profit but do nothing for their client! They were managing my property with no increase in rental income for several years. Furthermore, they changed my property into an Air BNB without my knowledge and permission so they profited immensely through this but did not increase my rental income by a single £1. During the beginning of the pandemic, as my flat had been converted into an airbnb without my knowledge, it was natural that the property was now vacant since why would airbnb customers stay in a flat beyond a few nights! My flat was vacant for several month and I suffered huge financial loss which they did not even take responsibility for or apologise! Bunch of scams! Save yourself the hassle and go find yourself real professionals!

Very poor money orientated service. Target driven and cynical. Response on 'All agents.co.uk' by Salik and co to my review is just rubbing salt in wound. They take your property as part of a money spinning unit for them after a few years. Its under our control, its not going any where, we are keeping it let or empty is their approach and why would I be putting a negative review after 8 years if they were reasonable towards their clients of such a long time.

I have been living in one of their properties for 6 months and I have rated them with easy 5 stars. Communication it's easy with them since they have always assisted me regarding any question or problem. The maintenance guy has always been available for us. Asif and Husna (mainly but not only)have informed me regarding any gas/electricity visit and answered to my emails promplty. Everyone working there has a kind and nice attitude ,so they are very profesional workers but at the same time they make you feel like home.
