Quite possibly the worst estate agents I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Took them 3 weeks to acknowledge that I was looking to rent, then after 2 viewings they didn't even tell me the landlord had decided to not rent the flats anymore. To add insult to injury they didn't even cross sell to show me other properties they have. I would like to say I am shocked but I am not. I will never use them ever... EVER!

I had a viewing in windmill road gillingham on saturday I was early for my appointment and greeted by sandra. I have had lots of viewings with other estate agents recently but sandra was def the best. Her professionalism was amazing she was very honest which is rare for most estate agents :) and she knew everything about each room before we stepped in it. Sandra's knowledge of the area was great regarding parking near by facilities. Clearly she did her research before the viewing. I feel she is a real credit to the company and everybody should learn from her how to conduct a viewing in a professional way. She should be the face of customer experience for the whole industry not just hunters. I understand this is a sales environment and results won't always reflect how good or valuable a person is but hunters def should invest in this one for long term as the old saying goes people buy from people. My brother and I contacted Hunters recently in relation to a 6 bedroom detached house with extensive parking & gardens in Buntingford Hertfordshire. We arranged an appointment with their employee Laura. My brother and I were so impressed by Laura from our first meeting in relation to her knowledge of lettings. She proved herself to be highly efficient and courteous during the following week and arranged all the certification, photos & floor plans for the letting with the individual contractors and in addition to providing us with beautiful Client brochures posted it on Rightmove within a very short time scale. I would highly recommend Laura and Hunters.

I recently sold 3 houses with Hunters in Gateshead and I have to say Hunters did a job a great job for me. A couple of the sales were not straight forward but they managed to get the sales over the line and and showed great worth ethic and professionalism. Rob is always on the other side of the phone going the extra mile to help out. They also managed my rentals and did an amazing job finding me great tenants. I have no doubt in recommending their services to anyone looking to buy sell or rent property in Gateshead and around. Anthony Jowers

GoogleAwful experience with Hunters - so much so that I feel compelled to write a review, something I never do! They failed to advertise a property as for cash buyers only, and let me arrange a viewing despite knowing I needed a mortgage. Obviously then realising their mistake on the day of the viewing, I received an automated cancellation email an hour before the viewing - at this point I had already left and didn’t see the email. Nobody attempted to call or text me, which is how the viewing was arranged. I was then left stood outside the property in the rain for 20 minutes while the agent ignored my calls, only to then receive a text message admitting their error. All in all 3 hours of my evening wasted! Zero respect or care for potential buyers.

I would give zero it i could. In disrepair for two years. Dont know were to start. Electics, mould, guttering, blocked toilets, firealarms. Dog poo on the floor when moving in. Overgrown ivy on the walls etc etc. im begging you dont rent from them. Fail to attend apointments etc

From responding quickly to all queries from day one to working with the landlord to resolve any issues promptly. Post-move he has continued to provide an excellent service and is a credit to Hunters, as a lot of agents have failed to respond to emails. Moving home is one of the least pleasant experiences and yet, this was without a doubt one of my best so far. Rocky, take a bow sir!! Ps the new home gift box is a lovely surprise to find

What to say, utterly unprofessional estate agent. Some properties are for sale in ivyhouse road that we like to view, seen it in Zoopla. And was told that property is sold couple of weeks ago, off hand. I am sure as an agent they have access to the account and very easy to put it STC, rather than making people running around.

I have just recently moved out of a property that Hunters in Baldock were managing I can’t believe in the difficult times with the pandemic how absolutely professional and efficient they have been. Both Claire and Chloe were brilliant. Supported me through the exit all the way, made sure the deposit was quickly paid back quickly and fairly, at no point did I feel money was being held unnecessarily.I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of letting their home

GoogleSTAY CLEAR! Hunters Tower Bridge are now 3 months in arrears to pay rent to us. I have been calling every day for 2 weeks with many emails and no one is responding. They have a tenant in my flat that is abusive and disruptive to the fellow flat owners in the building. None of the agent seem to know what's going on and do not help. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Unfortunately, estate agents usually have exclusive rights on properties and if you find a property you really like, you will have to go through them whether you like it or not.It's also likely that you will only see this review when you have already had problems with Hunters, but just in case this helps anyone, here's my recommendation: avoid them entirely, find another property you like if they are managing it exclusively.After I ended my tenancy, they kept me waiting for weeks and weeks without any kind of information. I could've waited to receive the money of the deposit, but I couldn't accept is the complete neglect and lack of updates they put me through. They didn't return calls (when i called they were always busy) and never answered emails.After trying to contact them again and again, they only decided to do something when I said I would take them to the small claims court if necesary, Even with that, they did reply but with lots of nonsensical excuses.After I got my money I found out that the landlord, unlike me, had been in the loop for everything.I wasn't even notified about the meter readings taken on check-out day by the clerk so that I could close my accounts.Why was I treated so differently? Well, simple, they don't care about tenants, only landlords, because they are the ones giving them their cut, not us.Also, the agents were the ones holding my deposit, so the later the better for them. They were clearly not in a rush to return my deposit.Absolutely unprofessional behaviour from a big estate agent that has offices in multiple places. This is a money-making machine with no consideration for tenants.
