GoogleRented through Charles Hamilton Estates for the past 2 years. Had a few initial issues when I first moved in due to the previous tenant but Humma was really helpful in getting problems resolved. Had a very easy tenancy, was easy to get in touch for repairs and general questions/queries and team were overall prompt and reliable in responding. Moved out of the area, but would be in touch again if I ever moved back.

GoogleAVOID AT ALL COSTS! Humma is absolutely incompetent and made the entire process of moving in and renting with her for a year a nightmare. We had to fight for her to fix our shower which broke a week after us moving in as she claimed it would be our fault when clearly the shower was old and knackered. This was one of many problems. She is a compulsive liar and only cares about making the most money she can out of her tenants. Most of the reviews I’ve read on here match my experience in having to deal with someone so rude and difficult. So so so relieved to not have to deal with her anymore! Don’t put yourself through this!

GoogleThis agency was absolutely fantastic the whole time my flatmate and I were renting through them (3 years in Stratford). Any issues that we had with the flat was always addressed straight away by Humma, who ensured that the issues were resolved as soon as possible. It is rare to find agents that care about your welfare and want to make sure you’re doing well in your household. The other staff in the agency were also helpful and attentive when we needed help with anything in the flat.

GoogleI have been a tenant for a year and have loved the house and everyone from the agency I have talked to. Humma is always helpful and lovely to speak to. The property is great and very well priced so I have been really happy with everything over the past year.

GoogleHumma is a Very helpful lady and she has always been so nice, friendly and professional. We have been living in the apartment for 3.5 years and our issues have always been resolved within few days.

GoogleUpdated Review based on comment from Charles Hamilton below: "We have never ever rented a property to yourself or any of your staff working in your Eastate Agency, We have been operating within this sector since 2007 and are very careful with who we work with as there are plenty of fraudulent companies and individual within this space" It does not surprise me that you no have recollection or claiming otherwise, I have numerous lengthy and painful correspondence with yourself and the various staff member of the agency, if you wish I can happily share screenshots and post them as part of the review. Either ways it will add to the stellar credibility, let me know! --- Original Review ---- Do yourself a favor and avoid by all means. Undoubtedly the worst and unethical interaction I have ever had through the 10 years of living in London. Forget professionalism and customer service, the practices are border line fraud and a court case would have legs if customers had the time and energy to pursue it. The 5-star reviews are untrustworthy as they are by their own staff Azzah Zubair who has been working there for years. GoogleI was a tenant of Charles Hamilton for four years, and had a positive experience throughout. On the rare occasion that the flat had an issue Humma was responsive in getting things sorted quickly and effectively.

GoogleUnprofessional and unreliable behaviour from the agent Humma Zubair. When we moved into the house we were renting there were flies in the dishwasher, mould around taps, wallpaper peeling off, broken freezer trays, broken door knobs and bin bags full of trash from previous tenants - this is what Humma says is the condition of a ‘professional clean’. No inventory was made. As we left the tenancy, in every right I had in questioning her random stream of images sent through WhatsApp to say that we did not clean the house properly, she called me nit-picky and that I don’t have a ‘legal brain’. You don’t need a ‘legal brain’ to realise that your estate agent is trying to exploit you when she sends dodgy invoices, inspects the house without an inventory and mixes you up with her other tenants. From slipping my housemate a £10 note to get bins bags removed, complaining about having to come to the house to look at something and putting the phone down on me when I’m expressing my concerns for my deposit, to quote another review: ‘A polite reminder that this is your job, your not doing someone a favour’.

GoogleRented through Charles Hamilton Estates for the past year. Any issues I had were easily resolved by both the agency and specifically Humma, who was really helpful in getting problems resolved. Had a very easy tenancy, was easy to get in touch for repairs and the team was very very reliable in responding.

GoogleHorrible experience. We had extended our lease and were charged Airbnb prices along with the bills. On top of that people from the agency who had come to fix seepage in the living room entered the house while we were away and ended up moving all our stuff and painting the whole house (causing a lot of damage)

GoogleOne of the best experiences I have had with an agency. They helped me get an amazing apartment in Stratford at this hectic time with the way the market is and at a very reasonable price. They were very professional, on time with every process and quick to respond to all my queries and difficulties that came up. The whole process was overlooked by Mrs. Zubair and I am more then pleased with the outcome. I believe it is a great agency and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a house.

The value for money with our flat was superb and the responsiveness and resolving of issues throughout the tenancy has been quick and efficient.
