Bit of a disappointing experience to be honest. We previously used JO to sell a house a few years prior. We went with JO on the premise buyers were lined up who would more than likely purchase the property. Yes we had a viewing straight away but they did not put in an offer, but we knew this could be an outcome and took the comment with a grain of salt. JO didn’t guarantee the sale but we were made to feel the sale was pretty much a done deal which was why we proceeded to list the property with them. There was next to no communication between viewings. 8 weeks without a viewing and no communication from JO. The only communication and suggestion to reduce the price of the property was when we gave notice of ending the agreement. A lot of communication when you do have a viewing is carried out through an app which seems impersonable. We had to chase a viewing as the people didn’t turn up and were not told the viewing was cancelled until we phoned. The house was put on the market but was over priced which would probably explain the lack of interest. The price was set as per JO. We terminated the contract when we were able to do so and a few weeks later we had 4 different valuations all around the same ball park figure which was £15K less then JO recommended. We used the moving scheme with the builder which we then elected different estate agents in the area. House sold fine after a few weeks at the recommended price. *Edit* Hi. After re-listing our house with Jackie Oliver, we could not have been more happy with the service we received from the whole team. Feedback from viewings was instant, the team were in constant contact with us both and we received regular updates about potential buyers, details on their positions and whether they were in a position to proceed. There was zero time wasting and excellent communication between us and our buyers and even the solicitors, which was all organised by Jackie Oliver. We can not recommend this agent highly enough and the huge huge effort the whole team went to in processing the sale of our house. Such a genuine lovely company, run by hard working and honest people! This is the agent you need to sell your house! Fantastic service throughout from Jackie Oliver & Co. We sold our house with them and they really went above and beyond. I found the team to be consistently professional, hard working and very friendly. From the first meeting with Richard (and throughout), he was so approachable and gave much helpful advice. Followed by Frazer taking amazing photos, capturing the home beautifully. Both arranged viewings and provided instant feedback. Absolutely outstanding service. From the moment we met Richard we knew we wanted Jackie Oliver to sell our house. We had two other estate agents come round, both giving hard sale tactics, one even telling us to fill out the paperwork to sell the house before he came, to "speed up the process". Richard gave us time and made us feel like we just sat down with a friend to have a chat about selling our house. His guidance and the help from the whole team was outstanding. The photos taken by Frazer were beautiful and really made us question why we were moving! This review is a touch late, but I can't recommend and thank the whole Jackie Oliver team enough. Not only did they work tirelessly to ensure our purchase went through, when we hit a delay, the team were able to pivot and help us find accommodation at very short notice. We’ve used Jackie Oliver twice now, once when we moved from Towcester as the local agent. We then actively sought to use them again when we moved from Brackley, so good were they the first time. Fraser is excellent at drawing up the details and the photos he takes are impeccable. Richard is so professional, pleasant and down to earth for the initial estimate and sales. I had the sad task of selling my late Mother’s bungalow recently and have been delighted with the service I have received from all the staff at Jackie-Oliver. When Richard valued the property he had an excellent knowledge of the market values in the village. Everything was handled efficiently throughout the selling process and I was kept regularly informed of progress. They always answered any calls and emails promptly and dealt well with any problems that occurred during the sale. All staff were friendly, polite and most of all very reassuring when I needed it most. I would definitely recommend them to any of my family or friends.

We were very very lucky this week, we exchanged contracts! In a very difficult chain. 👍 The house we bought was being sold by Jackie Oliver & Co and whist there were no issues with our seller, they were brilliant ! I’ve visited the offices because I would like to sell my house and had a valuation from them last year. I called their number to get an updated valuation. They wouldn’t even visit my property again and gave me the lowest of the valuations saying they wouldn’t list my property higher as they don’t want to waste their time. Absolutely stay away. Made an offer on a property and all was accepted. After spending over £2k on legal and surveys The guys at Jackie Oliver fabricated a story that our chain was unstable. I then looked into this myself to find it was completely untrue only to find out they had got another buyer to come in and offer more on the property we were at contract stage with. After speaking with so many other estate agents we have been told this was completely bad practice and should not happen. I was also spoken to like a child for most part on the day they were essentially cutting us off. Apparently this is called "gazumped" a word I never heard of but after telling many other agents our experience with Jackie Oliver I now find myself writing a bad review, something I never do. I truly hope nobody else goes through this as of it costs a so much money, stress and anxiety for nothing . I am happy to provide any proof and inform anyone else who has or is looking to use this company so that the facts are clear.

Would advise that you avoid when buying Would advise that you avoid these when buying a property. These tend to look after their own back pockets than follow the correct process. No experience with housing associationshave no experience in talking to people with people. They threatened to remove a property of the market to avoid a saleThey pick and choose depending on who you are and if the want someone else rather than following the correct process They don’t like to talk to apologiseThey don’t even have the respect to talk to you in regards to the matter and be like an adult about it.
