Worst letting agents I’ve used. They are incredibly unhelpful, particularly after you vacate a rental property of theirs. Once they stop receiving your money they will not be of assistance whatsoever. I simply asked if they could provide a copy of my rental tenancy with them as I needed it for a new rental property. They said it was in storage and they did not have easy access to the storage to look for my tenancy paperwork. In 2026 you’d expect it all to be digital surely? Anyhow, I had to stop asking as they stopped responding to my emails. Thankfully the new rental property agency was very understanding & said to me ‘you get those types of estate agents!’

Really poor attitude. I called on Tuesday morning at 9:22 and booked a viewing that was verbally confirmed for Thursday morning. I received no confirmation of the appointment so called Thursday Morning (today) at 9:10 and spoke to a lady. She said nothing was in the book. She then said I can't of spoke to anyone as they aren't available at 9:20 despite literally speaking to her at 9:10 🤣. Work that one out. Then went on to tell me I must have spoke to a VM machine, insinuating I am completely stupid. It's a shame as the property looked promising but how can you deal with such incompetence and rudeness. I did end up hanging up in the end as instead of just offering a new appointment she continued to stubbornly express how I must be wrong and how I mustn't of spoke to anyone or booked a call. Genuinely never had such a nonsense call in my life. All the best to people selling with these, because if that's how they do sales you will be waiting a long time to sell anything with their poor attitude.

Recently purchased a property through JH and I could not speak highly enough of the service Johanne Michael and the team provided. They were absolutely amazing in keeping me updated ( often quicker than my solicitor did at times ) and whenever their was an issue they were there chasing them up and helping to resolve them. Never have I had when moving house in the past the marvellous care and attention I received from JH . Thank you and would not hesitate in recommending and using you again .

We have recently sold a property with JH. Right from the outset, we were impressed with their positivity. Our property was marketed within a couple of days and we were receiving offers within a week. As a professional mortgage broker, I could sense they were not only engaged in obtaining an agreed offer, but were also looking to achieve the full asking price. They tied up an offer for the asking price within days. Right from the off - their communication was excellent and we were aware they were working hard in the background to progress the sale. They were always on hand to deal with any queries. The sales process had it's moments, valuation issues (reports required) some of which were gratefully managed by JH and a couple which we managed via our Management Company. The legal process was frustrating (I must add that this was the fault of our solicitor's) however Jo and Michael kept good communication links with our purchaser and their solicitors - the result being we all got there in the end. I have worked with many estate agents over the years (arranging mortgages for them) and would not hesitate in recommending their services to potential vendors and landlords. JH Sales and Lettings have been managing my property portfolio for nearly 20 years, for the most part whilst I was living abroad. Both Johanne and Michael are totally professional and always available to sort out every problem that arises, big or small . They totally look after my houses and also my tenants and go out of their way to get things fixed quickly. For example, they have all the contacts with the trades to ensure that broken boilers in the middle of winter get sorted straight away. There is no one else in the area who has the same level of knowledge and expertise in managing rental properties. With all the constant changes in legislation required to let properties, there is no one else I would trust with mine.

We could not speak highly enough of JH. We dealt exclusively with the partners, Jo and Michael, initially seeking their advice on a letting being managed by another agent that had gone badly wrong. Their knowledge and advice on the lettings market, regulation and legal issues was faultless. We had used two other letting agents locally and JH were by far the best firm we have dealt with. When we came to put the property on the market, they again were marvellous. They guided us through a changing and difficult market place, always giving sound advice and and always taking the initiative. To us, what makes them stand out from other agents is that we always dealt with the partners. Jo and Michael really know the property and lettings market.
