A wonderful experience from beginning to completion! Paul Bettesworths was extremely helpful and actually, I would say the nicest, most genuine person I've come across in this field. He totally has the best interests at heart for both buyer and seller and does everything to guide the journey with the least possible stress! What a fabulous company, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, thanks Paul! Bettesworth really are the best options for buying and selling a hospitality business in the south west. In 2018 we purchased the lease of a delightful old building in Launceston, Bettesworth worked tirelessly to ensure a thorough and speedy transfer. Seven years with the lease expiring and bad health they were the only people we considered to find a new owner of our cafe. They found for us real business enquiries, and handled viewing professionally and with ease. We retired at the start on 2025 highly appreciative of their efforts.

I would like to thank Matthew and all the team at Bettesworths for selling my business for me. My primary contact was Matthew Bettesworth who I found to be excellent, during the process Matthew took a well-deserved short break and at no time did I feel in his absence the process slowed. As any business owner knows you are only as good as your team, I can honestly say I found all who I had dealings with at Bettesworths to be first class, knowledgeable and offering excellent advice to any concerns or queries I may have had. (If I were writing a TripAdvisor review, it would be five stars, offering excellent customer service in a timely fashion, very knowledgeable of the product, offering value for money and yes I would return) Buying and selling a business should not be an emotional or emotive process, that said when you have worked damn hard to create a successful business as any small business owner knows you put a bit of you into it. There were times I became irritated with the process, Matthew was like a wise father, I felt comfortable seeking his advice and following it. From my observations as business owners and potential business owners we often make the process of buying or selling a business unnecessarily difficult at times. I believe Bettesworths offered good sound advice and although I was Bettesworths client Matthew would point out it was equally as frustrating for me as it was for the people purchasing my business. I would have total confidence in using Bettesworths services again whether buying or selling a business and would be confident a good deal could be achieved to the benefit of all parties involved.
