As a first time solo home buyer Fox and Son's were very supportive right from the first phone call asking about property's, to viewings and the process of buying. They were able to give me update when asked and also would call when I needed info. The only reason I have not given them 5 stars is because the paperwork from my seller was incorrect around council banding and this had not been checked so was advertised wrong, the only constructive advice I could give would be please check this in the future but I also acknowledge I should've checked it too! Thanks to Aimee and Lucy in particular you were both so helpful, I love my new home thanks to you guys!

I have kept an excellent record as a tenant in my previous homes. My experience with Lauren and Binal at the Fox & Sons London Road Southampton was a very terrible one as both representatives kept lieing at every point. At some point I stopped taking verbal communication from them except through emails just to have a proof. They were unprofessional and dodgy in picking calls,so I started to call the sales unit to help put my call through to the lettings unit. Please avoid letting agents of the sort. To before warned is to before harmed.very unprofessional staff, very poor communication.

We have dealt with Aimee mostly who has always been incredibly helpful and professional but I have also spoken to Millie and Lucy who gave me the impression that helpfulness and professionalism runs throughout the entire branch. Buying a first home is a daunting prospect but this team has made it feel much less so.

Harassing me with phone calls when iv asked them to stop more than once

I asked fox and sons to come a do a valuation of my late father’s property. I have then been phoned 20times since asking if they can put the property on the market for me. I asked them politely to not phone me any more as it’s on the market with a different estate agent and to take my details of the system. They said they would I have since then received 5 other phone calls from them and each time been told they will take my of the the system. I have had three calls since and each time I have asked not to be phoned and they keep phoning me. It’s getting to the point of harassment now. I would stay clear. They clearly don’t listen to peoples wishes and feel it’s ok to continue to phone someone when they have been asked not to. If only they put the same amount of effort into selling a property ( they had my old house on the market two years and had about three people for viewings.

Review We instructed Fox and Sons (Tiverton Office) to sell our property in November last year; we were not part of a chain, and were not looking to buy either; ideally we needed a quick sale. Anthea Checketts and her Team were simply superb. She ensured we had premium listings on both Right Move and Zoopla and that we were updated with information regarding viewings in real time. We were also provided feedback from prospective buyers soon after viewings. It didn’t take long for us to accept a fair offer and Anthea and her Team acted in our best interests. The sale took longer than expected due to the circumstances out of our control, but we completed in a timely manner. I can fully recommend Fox and Sons for their expertise, professionalism and customer service and can honestly say that they made me feel like our property was the only property they were selling. Continuously hassled even after asking multiple times not to be

The estate agent that came to value my property needed more customer experience. He asked very intrusive questions, was rude about other estate agents valuations, was very pushy and I felt I had to be firm when I said I am only wanting a second opinion, not for them to market my property. I asked not to be contacted by them and I would be in touch if I needed their services. In the weeks following, the decision was made for me not to use them as I was contacted via telephone at least twice a week, pushing me to put it on the market with them when all I’d asked for is a valuation. When I asked multiple times to be taken off their contact list, the message clearly didn’t get through as I was contacted a further three times after this. No voicemails were left - just missed calls from an unknown number.

⁷I would give 0 if I could. Terrible experience with fox&sons London Road Brighton. We had our house advertised with them for bearly 6 months. We had 3 viewings & 10 cancellations, however, when you looked, they claimed we had 13 viewing. Our biggest mistake was to go with them. Totally unprofessional photos. We changed the agent and within a week we had 4 viewing & one offer!! Additionally, when we left this agent, they carried on advertising our house without our permission with a new price!! Dispute both written & verbal communications! Totally unprofessional. We should have read the reviews and avoided them at all cost!! So far we have had 2 offers and might have the final offer soon.

Awful mortgage advising service

Booked an appointment with one of their mortgage advisers, a lot of info i did not need to know that the company has x branches and have done x money on mortgages, just to be cancel on the second appointment. Got back to me after 4months saying he would help me that time, after a couple exchanges no more correspondence ive no idea whats going on. Meanwhile was contacted by another mortgage adviser she said to give her a change she’s different from her colleague. First appointment same things, second appointment a no show. Whats wrong with you people? Unbelievable. At least have the decency to cancel the appointment, i got out of work for the appointment waited 1h, even emailed and nothing.

Gosport Fox & Son - bad experience

Gosport. Pushy agents who will get a sale at any price including coming to your property without notice, walking through the grounds to the back door and scaring you to get you to accept a lower offer. I wish we hadn't been tricked into going with them as they offered success via a " boxing day" campaign and their "extensive" data based. Both yield nothing but low offers.

My recent experience with Fox & Sons has been excellent. I have bought and sold houses many times over the past few years and have had contact with a large number of estate agents. When I first saw a property I lied go on the market on Rightmove I immediately the agents but didn’t expect a response as it was 5.30pm however my call was answered. The sales negotiator, Millie was very thorough and efficient and a viewing was arranged within a couple of days. The next day I popped into the agents to discuss the property and my position. The negotiators were exceptionally helpful and engaging and managed to arrange the viewing a little earlier. During the viewing Millie demonstrated a good knowledge of the property and was highly professional yet very friendly throughout. Since making an offer, communication has been first class. I highly recommend this agent to any person considering selling their homes.

Do not use this Eastbourne Estate Agent

We feel our property was overpriced, which led to reduction after reduction in sale price. Did not respond to phone calls, or said things would be done that weren`t. To us the agents came across as arrogant, starting from not explaining the length of initial contract, right through to poor viewings both in numbers and quality of details given to possible buyers. Things were delayed because information was not passed through, and quite often was inaccurate. Very poor value for money. Instructed around the end of July 2022, completed 30th March 2023, pushed into a very short time between exchange and completion because of misinformation, and into a large reduction on our sale price.

The brighton branch

The brighton branch, has taken 2 years to get my dad's flat sold after he died. Recommended to sale the flat at auction by Ray Murphy, that fell through after months of trying to get it sold,then went down the normal route. This all starts out fine ,in 2022,then had two more offer ,these were not satisfactory, finally had an offer in August 2024 which has taken 5 months of us chasing to get over the line. Alfie is the person not to take at his word as this was only what he thought we wanted to hear. Never use fox&sons. Sonia collins
