We understand from your review that these issues occurred during your tenancy between late autumn 2022 and early spring 2023. We're surprised that you have chosen to leave this review over a year later, as we believed the situation was fully addressed at the time. We would appreciate the opportunity to address the points you have raised. Condensation and Mould: During the winter months, condensation is a common issue, especially in older properties with limited ventilation. This can be exacerbated by factors like drying clothes on radiators. While it's the landlord's responsibility to address existing mould, preventing it is a shared effort. We provide tenants with information on minimising condensation, and resources are readily available online. The photos you uploaded appear to be from the end of your tenancy. Given the property was freshly painted upon your move-in, any pre-existing mould would have been treated with appropriate paint. It's important to note that painted surfaces can still develop mould, particularly if condensation is not properly managed. Simpson and Partners Role: While we were involved in finding a suitable tenant for the Denford Road property, ongoing maintenance is the responsibility of the landlord and their managing agent. However, as a valued client, Leanne assisted in mediation with the managing agent at the time. Our records indicate she went above and beyond her role in facilitating communication. Positive Feedback Since and Moving Forward: We are happy to report that since you vacated the flat, it has been re-let without any further issues regarding condensation or mould, nor have we received any complaints from the current tenants or any other occupants in the building.
