GoogleNot great. Photos were terrible quality of property I had for sale with them. Recieved zero feedback on viewings. House sold quickly with other estate agents I used, good photos and consistent feedback. The ladies there seem to be a bit stuck in their own ways. I did some test calls at 4.45pm and no one ever answered. I think the reason was they wanted to get out of the office as quickly as possible.

GoogleI can’t recommend this independent estate agents highly enough. From start to finish, they made the job of selling my flat a smooth and stress-free process. Their support throughout was absolutely amazing, professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful at every stage. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and I always felt well informed and supported. A fantastic service from a great team. Highly recommended.

GoogleTOTALLY UNTRUSTWORTHY - NO INTEGRITY - WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE. Having jumped through all the necessary hoops for a rental property and despite having an appointment this afternoon AND offering to place a bond to hold the property (which we were told was unnecessary) we had a call this morning to advise us that the property has gone to someone else. All we got was a very insincere “sorry” . So all the while you were telling us lies, you were collecting information from someone else, knowing that you were going to let a vulnerable person down - in December . I really hope that you’re proud of yourselves ladies. Don’t know how you sleep at night or don’t you have a conscience?

GoogleAbsolutely hopeless and unprofessional estate agent. I am a cash buyer and have enquired about several properties to arrange a viewing. Never answer the phone or call back. They don't respond to email or Rightmove enquiries either. They demand proof of funds before allowing a viewing, despite this not being a legal requirement and highly irregular. I would never buy or sell through this agency. Rude, unhelpful, condescending and unprofessional staff.

GoogleHave decided not to use Independent. Trying to sell my deceased Dad's house having to fit in when I can get there to attend valuation. Arrived 7 mins late, person had aleady gone, no phone call to check if i was on my way. Next time I had to pop out to get my sick Daughter from school, rang office to tell them I'd be 5 mins and I'd left the property door open for them to go in and make a start eithout me. Again arrived a few mins later to find the person had either been and gone or not been at all. Clearly not ideal on my part, and I would have liked to have been there exactly on time but the lady on the phone was so short with me, awful customer service skills really disrespectful way of speaking to customers. What I will say is that other estate agents were much better, they usually gave the person visiting's mobile phone number to contact directly and took time with the valuation visit 45 mins plus (I had a lovely valuation visit from a chap from Unique earlier that afternoon). When asked why the visitor had left, while knowing I was 5 mins away, I was told by the unpleasant lady on the phone "perhaps she went in to look and left before you got there because I know she had another viewing straight after". Well, perhaps thats how they do things at Independant, a quick 5 mins and off they pop. Just a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Even PURPLE BRICKS was better and that is saying something!!!!

GoogleI sold my house through this estate agents at the end of 2020. I can honestly say that they worked for the buyer and not me as a seller paying their fees. They told me they had seen the valuation report but wouldn't let me see it. Turned out they had only seen parts of it and ended up costing me £2,500. Obviously didn't find out until completion. On the day of completion,, I hadcreason to phone them and they answered with 'thought we'd heard the last of you' . (They knew I wanted to complain and I wasn't happy with their service). Very unprofessional and rude. Only had 2 viewers as 2nd viewers purchased. Was supposed to be accompanied viewings. I knew nothing about the viewers who purchased and they turned up to accompany 15 minutes late! Awful, awful estate agents.

GoogleWell what can i say other than what a rude estaite agent this is. I called in and picked up a form on a property to rent from this Estaite agent and filled form in and posted it back to them. Waited a week and had no response. So i rang them to ask if they recieved my form. They were rude and said they had recieved it and said would you like to view the propererty. I said yes please. We arranged a viewing. Then they rang me and said oh sorry the landlord to the properry has found someone to move in. I have been looking still for a property only to keep seeing the same property on line i wanted to view. I rang up and asked if thos property was still availible and like i thought it is still available to rent. To the two ladies at the desk in the estaite agent who were rude you never gave me a chance. And you waisted my time wjen you could of been honest from the start you didnt want me looking at the property. Thinking your better than me. Well your not. Dont go here they judge you before you fill in forms. Bad hope one day someone judges you. Stick your forms

I contacted Independent to arrange viewings of two properties they had up for sale. Not a particularly friendly response but I can cope with that. I gave details of my availability for the viewings and the call ended with the response 'I cant make any promises but I will get back to you' It is now 3 weeks later and I have heard nothing. We have since had an offer accepted on another property so all is fine for us however I feel sorry for the people who have their houses up for sale with Independent.
