GoogleAfter reading through some of the reviews it's mind boggling how some people receive an excellent service and some don't. Unfortunately our experience is hugely disappointing. We still receive emails about viewings for a property we don't live in and are still waiting for a sizeable deposit back from a rental. The utter lack of communication in the office is astonishing. How they have received excellent reviews is beyond understanding.

GoogleWe used Luke Miller for our own purchase & had good service (because there were no issues). Therefore we thought we could trust them with my dad’s home purchase, how wrong we were. The house had been let by Luke Miller prior to the purchase & had been empty before dad moved in. My elderly father moved in on Thursday & his welcome gift was no water for his first day & no heating or hot water since. Luke Miller made positive noises initially around helping to resolve the issue but have since back tracked & removed all assistance even though it was clearly a property they were managing & had not switched the water on since the last tenant. They have pushed all blame on the seller stating the solicitors should sort it. The solicitors say it is Luke Miller who are to blame & my father is stuck in the middle. Luke Miller were aware of the previous plumbing work that bled the radiators but they took no responsibility to check them before someone moved in. The radiators are now air locked & for some obscure reason the seller organised for the shower to be removed before moving in. Clearly everyone was aware of the problems & had no qualms in allowing a pensioner to move into a house that is not fit for purpose. My father who is a widower with restricted mobility has been left distraught by this terrible situation- this is his first home since my mum passed away. Luke Miller’s attitude today has been to wash their hands of the situation, which is shocking. This has left me feeling that Luke Miller cannot be trusted & I would recommend going elsewhere to avoid disappointment & dispair.

GoogleWe have had an excellent service from Patrick Miller and his team. There has been a consistent "can do" positive and professional attitude throughout even though COVID has restricted their normal flow. Nothing has been too much trouble, responses have been prompt and cheerfull. It took just 3-4 days to gather the information and photos to market our property and contacts were made immediately. We had a full price offer within 2 weeks so clearly their knowledge of the market is spot on. I will We would highly recommend Luke Miller & Assocites to anyone considering putting their house on the market.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleHave difficulty getting anyone to return my calls. Member of staff failed to turn up for pre arranged viewing - waited almost 45 minutes before eventually phoning office who, after investigating phoned back to advise colleague had been held up at another viewing. On the plus side when you do eventually get to speak to someone they are always very polite.

GoogleBooked a viewing to be called a hour before the viewing that is cancelled because the tenant had been sent home to do a covid test. after a week i emailed Luke Miller twice to see when the viewing was going to be re arranged. i also called the office. had no reply to phone call or emails and the property has now vanised from the websites. poor communication skills. just say that the property has been let instead of using covid as an excuse

GoogleDuring what proved to be a frustrating process (our selling end) Luke Miller were endlessly helpful and patient, interacting with the vendors, and keeping us all going as the end finally came in sight. Utterly professional but also supportive and friendly. Not sure we'd be in Thirsk without them. People do need an estate agent who gets involved,and helps sort out problems. Some don't. Luke Miller Associates does.
