Belvoir have been on the front line of margates regeneration, my association will continue for decades, Belvoir have supported me through thick and thin, taking over management when agency operations already very demanding, It’s easy for landlords, but you change shoes, the rental market hectic, Agents who find you a tenant, Genuine is the word I’m looking for, As a first time landlord I got good advice in the real world, without charging a penny I received support and advice as I woke up and exited Airbnb . Agents I notice can be temporal , I’m proud to be associated and my experience teaches me I wouldn’t be able to change shoes, Belvoir Margate are my heroes.

After many moths of searching for a suitable rental property through multiple agencies, Belvoir Thanet helped my partner and I find the perfect apartment. After facing real disappointment and serious set backs with unreliable and unorganised agents, our experience with Belvoir Thanet was completely to contrary and they provided an all round exceptional service. I cannot speak highly enough of not just the reliable and professional nature on which the company and its representatives conducted themselves (particularly our agent Gavin) in finding the property but also the follow up since our move has been fantastic. I can't praise Hugh and the Team at Belvoir Thanet highly enough really. Being an Overseas Landlord it's always a worry that you're not in the UK to deal with anything that may arise, but I can put those worries aside because I trust these guys implicitly and they've never let me down. We've just agreed another year's Tenancy with the same excellent Tenant - what wonderful Peace of Mind! I wanted to purchase a 'Buy to Let' property in Thanet to give me an income. I don't live in Thanet and hadn't bought a property for 35 years so was rather apprehensive about the whole process. Belvòir was recommended to me so I went to see Hughie & Gavin. I have been so impressed by their professionalism. They were happy to advise me every step of the way, from the type of property to buy, which areas are best for rentals, and those areas to avoid. They also did 'pre-purchase' inspections of houses I considered buying, to avoid me paying for an expensive full survey on an unsuitable property. They were able to recommend a very helpful local surveyor, and keep a list of experienced local tradespeople to call upon should that be necessary. They have even undertaken minor repair jobs themselves! They found tenants for my property within two days of advertising it, and my tenants were in the house very soon after Belvoir had undertaken all the necessary reference and financial checks. I am very happy with the service Belvoir provides and have no hesitation in highly recommending them. Jan Wright

When I moved from North East to Margate 3 years ago Belvoir where amaxing at helping me find the right flat (that would take pets) and arrange all the checks and finances without me being present. I've only recently moved out of the flat and once again Belvoir were on the ball with my check out (even though I had to extended by 1 day) and the refunding of my deposit. I would highly recommend them, as and when I'm on the market to look for another property this well be my first port of call.

We had a positive experience moving into the property. But when it came to us relocating the agent did not seem bothered we had damp issues and we had a hole in the kitchen ceiling thanks to the landlords dodgy plumping! The viewings he was not there for some and got timings wrong! He also had a full inventory of the house he then said to the potential tenants that our personal belongs, for example, the American fridge freezer and washer dryer was coming with the house! Didn't do his homework. In addition, if you are on DSS don't bother with Belvoir we were told by the agent they won't consider them but still let them view the property as a box-ticking exercise. He admitted that before we took on the property that he was aware of the social issues i.e. drug dealers on our street when we asked if there were any issues at our initial viewing he neglected to tell us. Keep away a bunch of cowboys!

I am so grateful to have Belvoir as my letting agent. Both Hugh and Gavin have been really helpful through the moving in process and are really fast to answer phone calls and fix problems. Hugh seems to be able to fix ANYTHING personally which has made repairing the shower and fitting a TV aerial really fast. It is also nice not to have workmen you don't know or trust in the house. Hugh came to my house 5 minutes after I called to report a water leak on a Friday night and fixed it there and then. I feel really lucky to have them as my letting agents and would totally recommend them.
