GoogleDisappointed in this Estate agents know feed back or return calls ,especially when I was recommended to use a local surveyor to look at a barn ,And highlighted lots of problems with the property, But still believed the barn came with a premium price.And after trying to make contact with the owner through the agents 'To highlight that if the owner could find a local company and get some quotes 😀 I would be happy to proceed. So I've wasted a survey and solicitors fees, On a company that not only put the property back on the market, But hasn't even the responsibility of a response by email. Especially on a once in a lifetime property and a area that feels like home.

GoogleVery poor experience after 4 years as a tenant. Initially, they simply never spoke to me at all which I suppose is a good thing. But the hot water cylinder regularly leaked into a light fitting in the room below which was interesting. It seemed that they took their fee but did no work.
Just finished a tenancy and it has been a horror story. Told them I was having a cashflow crisis and they simply buried their head in the sand then told me to vacate the house when I was only 4 days late on rent (3 months after the warning I might be!)
Then decided to go anyway and offered to move out on a date to suit the incoming tenant - which I did just to be helpful but it was inconvenient to me. My neighbours helped make the house immaculate so far as possible but it needed a repaint and obviously I didn't have as much time as I had hoped for.
I heard nothing for fully 3 weeks about my deposit return. I then get told of the deductions - after they had been made as a fait accompli. At no stage did anyone call me to say that costs needed to be incurred: £400 of them. Lets say a cleaning company charge £20 an hour... Are they seriously telling me that it took 20 hours to clean a small empty house that was errr clean by most standards?
My summary: Unprofessional, unhelpful, dishonest. I cannot believe that they so totally lack basic professional courtesy.

GoogleUnfortunately a really awful year in this property. All lovely at first to get us in. Then once we were in we had loads of problems ,leaks in a number of rooms. heating not working, black mould and damp.
Lots of our belongings were damaged. Unfortunately we had no idea when we went to view the property.
Nothing was ever done, ignoring my messages regarding the problems.
Or they would say it was going to be sorted but it was just all lies.
And nearly two years later he has send a debt to us ,which is nothing to do with us. But luckily I had the proof to prove otherwise.

GoogleAstoundingly poor service. My daughter phoned on Monday to book a viewing, come Thursday she'd heard nothing. We contacted them to find that apparently there had been an offer put in even before my daughters call, but this was not told to her. This is not our first dealings with Gallimores, we had the misfortune to use them 3 years ago. They are really poor with giving out information, contacting and updating and general overall service. I think that if we see a property for sale with these people again, then we'll knock on the door of the house and ask to view and tell the people about why we don't want to go through the agents. Also you would expect a vibrant person in the office to entice you to want to use there services, well no, the guy on the phone makes you feel like slashing your wrists. Use these at your peril.

GoogleDont touch this estate agents if you ate selling a property. They do not support you by negotiating a fair price you are left on your own. When my sale was agreed they omitted to inform me that the buyers were going travelling had i known i would not have agreed the sale. 15weeks down the line i am nearing completion. I will be making formal complaints.
