This has been along time coming, we moved over 3 months ago from a house we had been in for 25years , we had 8 people in the chain , I thought it would be a nightmare ( especially as we work in conveyancing and know how agents can make it comfortable or distressing) Daniel and Victoria could not have been more understanding, patient, and considerate they never wound up the situation ( even when one person withdrew ) never rushed anybody , kept everyone calm and sorted everything that needed doing without fuss , we had to delay the exchange for personal reasons at the last moment , they contacted everyone in the chain and reassured them . I just want to commend and highly recommend George for his outstanding facilitation of our move. When we viewed the place he wasn't pushy, overselling or compensating for any of the property. He let the place speak for itself and was relaxed and informative with his answers and questions. He gave us great tips for our offer and we moved into our dream rental with as little stress as possible. They paid me less than they offered Everything was fine until the deposit fiasco. They wanted to take a lot of money for extra cleaning etc so I started a claim with Tds. They made an offer I agreed to and then paid me less anyway. They're not responding to my emails anymore. I'll have no choice but to go to small claims court. Moving is always very stressful, and my last move experience involved a very well-known major estate agent who left me in a truly terrible position with no home to go to two days before we had to move out, costing me a huge amount of money and stress, so I am a bit estate-agent-shy and was very nervous going into moving house again. I am so relieved and grateful to George from the Savill's office in Teddington for making this move a really simple (as possible) and calm process! George was professional, responsive and so helpful at every step of the way from our first viewing to moving in (in less than a month). All our questions were answered quickly. George was very personable and honest, and we were very grateful to have him and the wider Savill's team handling this for us. I would 100% recommend Savill's based on this experience. (It was also very telling to note that an external, neutral contractor who had to carry out a service as part of the process mentioned to us in passing: 'You've got Savill's - you'll be fine. The Savills office in Teddington have been absolutely brilliant in finding and securing a buyer for our property. From the first meeting we knew we had a quality team of professionals to help us navigate the complexities of selling a home in this challenging market. The team were excellent and organised in managing all the viewings. They always arrived promptly for every appointment and were extremely knowledgeable about our property and the surrounding area, and this was very helpful to potential buyers. The whole office worked very well together as team - in particular David, Victoria and Daniel - and always kept us informed at all stages in the process.
