Friendly, honest and upfront

Visited St Mary’s Park today with my husband and met with Vic. We really enjoyed our visit, we found Vic was really friendly and easy to talk to. Nothing was too much for her and she explained everything well to us. She had great knowledge of the plot and properties she had available to sell. She ensured we had all the information and gave us literature to take away and refer back too. We would have full confidence in purchasing a property from her. I value someone who is upfront and honest, which Vic absolutely was. Highly recommend.

Excellent on site viewing

The lady site representative at The Meadows site in Macclesfield was very welcoming. She gave us a helpful summary of their properties and features. We were also able to view one of the show houses where she explained the main features and we were able to see the quality of the building and its fittings. She also explained how various options were available to buy a property such as Part Exchange and Smart Move.

Very disappointing experience with…

Very disappointing experience with Morris Homes. We purchased our new-build apartment in 2022 and were given a LABC Warranty cover note, but it took almost four years to finally obtain the warranty certificate. The issue became critical when we decided to sell our apartment, as our buyer’s solicitor required the certificate and our sale was put at risk because of the delay. Despite repeated emails and chasing, communication from Morris Homes was extremely poor. We even submitted a formal complaint, which was completely ignored, we received no response whatsoever, not even an automated acknowledgement. We eventually had to escalate the matter, including contacting our MP/councillor, before the situation was finally resolved. Thankfully, we have now received the certificate, but the amount of time, stress and uncertainty caused by this process was completely unacceptable. I hope Morris Homes improves its communication, complaint handling and after-sales support so other homeowners don’t have to go through the same experience.

Hugglescote Grange

Having moved into our new build home in June we can honestly say the team at Hugglescote have been excellent!! Jack and Pauline helped with the purchase they provided all the information we needed and just getting everything sorted - from the day we phoned to make an enquiry to making our reservation Jack was able to answer our (many) questions. We were pleasantly surprised by the build quality and the ‘extra features’ that were included as standard - turfed garden/burglar alarm/outside tap and spot lights in kitchen and bathroom. Following completion and moving in the site team - Martin and Richard were on hand to help with our snagging list - most of which were very minimal and all sorted out in relatively good timing and with very minimal disruption to ourselves.

Excellent overall experience (@ Shelbourne Orchards, Cambridge)

We moved in a couple of months ago and have had an excellent experience. Ali in the sales office has been incredibly helpful, friendly, and very patient with us. We weren’t the quickest to make a decision (we never are), but Ali gave us the space to go at our speed. She walked us through the process clearly and confidently, even though at the time she’d only just moved to the site herself. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Once finished the estate should be very nice, and most visitors we’ve had have specifically commented on how spread out things feel. Worth also praising the guys in the site office who have been very helpful and friendly.

Good homes in a nice neighbourhood

We were looking for a new and bigger house for the kids to grow up in, in a neighbourhood that feels "organic" rather than planned at a drawing board. A genuinely brilliant experience with Morris Homes We recently bought our new home from Morris Homes and, from start to finish, the experience has been absolutely first class. From the sales team who helped us through the buying process, to the after-sales team and the maintenance guys, everyone has been fantastic. Nothing ever seems too much trouble and they genuinely cannot do enough for you. The quality of the house has also really impressed us. We had very few snags when we moved in, and those we did have were only minor and have been dealt with quickly and professionally. Buying a new home can be stressful, but Morris Homes have made the whole experience incredibly positive. For us, this has been the gold standard of how buying a new-build home should be. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Couldnt be happier.

We have been in our property on Greenmount Manor for nearly 7 weeks now. The standard of service we received from Clare and Dean the site manager in the run up to us purchasing has not wiltered at all. They have been great at keeping close and ensuring we are happy and dealing with any problems (not that there have really been any) quickly. I cannot recommend Morris enough, the ease of the process, the quality of the build and the top level staff they employ to ensure you are looked after are all fantastic.
