St Helens branch - very clearly they appear to be writing their own reviews. I have dealt with 5 x different estate agents so far and without doubt these were the worst by some margin and when I use the word worst I am aware of it’s implications. Unprofessional, poorly trained and rude staff - had an absolute nightmare experience buying a property through them. My advice would be to use someone else or/and look at all the negative reviews to gain some idea of their level of professionalism. Impossible to give a minus score but I would have if it had been possible. Amateurs!!

Would highly recommend!

I sold my house with Reeds Rains Pemberton and used their suggested solicitors (Stephenson's). We were so pleased with their customer service, professionalism and efficiency over our selling process. There were some bumps in the road and complications that arose (never from our side) but they were handled extremely well by all, especially Emma. We are now happy in our new home, all thanks to the support that we received throughout from Reeds Rains - they really did go above and beyond!

No respect for tenants, choose anywhere else

Spoken to like a second class citizen any time I needed anything, our contract said we would be contacted 2 months before the tenancy ended to see if we wanted to renew. When I chased this up after it didn't happen, I was told that I had to speak directly to my landlord. We then got a section 21 from reeds rains, but whenever we tried to contact them for help we were told again 'speak to your landlord'. They also copy and pasted my emails to them (Reeds Rains) and sent them to our landlord without our permission.They might not care about us now that we're 'just tenants', but when we are buying next year they will care when we go absolutely nowhere near them.ETA they now have our old property listed for rent with blatant lies on the advert, one being that there is OFF ROAD PARKING (there is not anything of the sort). Don't trust them!

I am writing this review to express my gratitude to Reeds Rain Hazel Grove. Dealing with branch manager Dean Brandreth is making my house purchase very smooth. He always gets back to my emails promptly. If I have any questions or issues to the sellers he will pick it up very quick and get back to me pretty quick . As the sellers are not residing in the UK anymore he had to sort out few issues after my survey . He has been very professional, responsive and understanding . Couldn't ask for a better service. Highly recommended

I am writing this review to express my gratitude to Reeds Rains St Helens following Steph visiting my home yesterday to complete a valuation on my property. What an asset she is to this branch. I have used Reeds Rains in the past to purchase my current property and couldn’t of asked for a better service at the time, however yesterday, Steph went out of her way to provide me with support and ensured that I had everything I needed. She was super patient and I cannot thank her enough for everything. Steph contacted me beforehand to confirm the visit which again was reassuring having been let down by other local companies. She went out of her way to ensure that both my children felt included and allowed my daughter to ask any questions during this time. Please pass on my thanks to her and I will continue to promote this wonderful estate agents to friends and family moving forwards.

Poor experience

Absolutely useless service. No surprise that people could not sell with this agents. Wanted a viewing but after multiple calls over a week, manged to get an appointment. When actually got there, the tenants were not informed of the booked visit. Promised a call back to rearrange the appt, but nothing. No responses even after leaving so many messages with the team. Very poor and unprofessional service. I wouldn't use them to buy, sell or manage my lets after this experience. What a disappointing experience 😪.

Chaos, inexperience, under qualified

Staff do not have a clue what they are doing by the looks of it, received so many documents littered with so many errors from all kinds of departments that do not communicate with one another. They dodge questions and facts like politicians or criminals, too scared to tell the landlord when he is wrong and unlawful or breach of their own terms of a tenancy agreement. Negligent or maybe even considered fraudulent tampering of notices to make their documents appear valid. Even down to simple maths (KS1 addition that my 6 year old could complete) they do not seem to be able to grasp. Denial demonstrated on all things that they are incorrect about, which I’m clever enough to have all in emails/writing. I’m embarrassing to have this agent operating, I’m not saying I know everything but I’ve had to correct and school them on a lot of aspects of our tenancy, so much so that I’m tempted to send them an invoice for my time! Avoid this agent at all costs, they side with landlords even if they are in the wrong and simply do as they are told by their clients, this isn’t always the right or ethical thing to do and certainly In need of some training/business transformation or redundancies. Avoid!

Their professionalism, knowledge and help shone through from our first meetings. From five viewings of the house four offers were made on the same day and this resulted with an offer being accepted within one day! We recently bought our house through Reeds Rains Bamber Bridge and had the amazing Alison help us from the very start and right until we collected the keys. Alison was extremely helpful and was always on the other end of the phone for any advice or if we needed to go to the house again. As we were reaching completion she was on the ball and in discussion with the seller, solicitors as well as me and my partner to ensure we completed on the agreed date. She really took us under her wing as we were first time buyers and didn't have much of a clue so we were very grateful to have her throughout the process.

Emily was fantastic throughout the whole process, she was friendly and professional throughout and was able to find out answers to any of our questions in a timely fashion. Emily was able to keep us up to date with the purchase of our recent property and chase the solicitors on both sides which helped considerably especially when our solicitor sent the details through to a wrong email address at the firm. Having a person who we could trust and pass the information onto the sellers and relay back with helped through the whole process and sped things up as much as possible. Would definitely recommend using them to anyone else and in particular Emily.

Adele is a blessing to the CONGLETON BRANCH

I have been letting a few properties out with different agents over the years but my recent property letting in Congleton was the most stress-free and comfortable process I have experienced. Adele took care of the whole process and got everything sorted for me, she came out to the property within a day and I have never met a more bubbly and enthusiastic person. She told me she had only just started at Reeds Rains but I wouldn't have guessed it from her confidence and knowledge. Most agents just want to get in and get out as soon as possible but all we could do was chat about my experiences with my previous lettings and also how Adele is just moving into her new house with her partner.After Adele came round, the Congleton branch kept in touch and updated me on all the applications. I now have some amazing people renting my property and I owe that to them.If you want a stress-free and smooth experience then I wouldn't go to anyone else! Ask for Adele too!

Scored 1 because I can't give negative. Appalling rental company who should be ashamed of their total lack of tenant care. I was lied to directly by them on multiple occasions, twice left for 3 months without an oven and no care on their part to ensure it was resolved. Then their disgraceful moving out team made me wait just short of 3months for my deposit back and pathetic excuses given, had to take them to deposit dispute to get it back. Avoid at all costs

Waste of time

Basically everything they do is show up to a viewing, after that they go AWOL , been chasing them constantly for the past few days after I have been told by the agent - Charlotte that someone else already put in an offer to the flat that I so much wanted . She highly recommended to call urgently at the office by 4 pm same day of the viewing (it was about 3:30 pm when we had this conversation) and her colleagues will help me out with starting the process. I am still calling 5 days later until they even decided to hung up every time I’m trying to call . Whenever they answered before that , Charlotte was never in the office and no one else was apparently dealing with the property. Well , you just wasted a week in my house hunting chasing you. Avoid at all cost if your time is precious.

Wasters and money grabbers spastics for staff!

If I could put 0 stars I would! Reeds rains are the worst letting agents to go with the 4.5 years we’ve lived in our property in Bidford on Avon we’ve had problems with property. (Twice this happened)Boiler took them 3 weeks to sort we had no hot water for 3 weeks they didn’t care!! shower broke took them a month to sort they didn’t care! To top everything we’ve just moved out of the property and they’re only giving us half of our deposit back because the grass in the garden was long and they’ve had to cut it ( that’s because they’ve waited 3 weeks to check property) I might add!! They have no ppl skills no customer service couldn’t give a toss about anyone but themselves! Absolute morons I’ve been waiting nearly a month for my deposit back they’ve is saying it’s gonna be another 5/10 days! REALLY!!! Don’t go with these morons people they can’t organise a p**s up in a brewery in my eyes!

Ignorant and clueless

Up till now I've had no issues, but my rent was due and after several days with no request for payment I decided to email them and ask what was happening, several days later no reply. Email again, no reply. Call the local branch who apparently don't deal with my address anymore and don't know who does. Not wanting to go into arrears I contact the letting department on a Southampton number, eventually they say you need to contact our other department, give me a number, once again they didn't know about any arrangements made previously about paying in advance etc. Basically I had to CHASE MYSELF FOR THE RENT. Absolutely disgraceful ignorant company and it's not the first time I have asked them something only to be completely ignored. Don't bother replying because I'm not interested.
