We have let out a property for many years. Initially it was with another agent, however we did not feel this was value for money and chose to manage the property ourselves for a number of years. Although we saved quite a lot on management fees, this time we have decided to have the property professionally managed to ensure it is properly maintained and all compliance requirements handled on our behalf. I popped into Stroud over a lunchtime and visited 4 agents. CGT were the only company who had a member of staff present who could speak to me. The other companies either had lettings staff at other offices or were at lunch, precisely the time when many potential clients have a chance to pop in, i.e. during the lunch hour. Initially I spoke to Sarah, she was extremely helpful and enthusiastic. She answered the questions I had, and followed up with emailing details to me as she had assured me she would. James Askew was the CGT lettings negotiator who I then dealt with, and he visited the property and seemed genuinely knowledgeable, competent and professional in his manner. He took excellent photos and communication was excellent. Alison Mills handled the administrative matters and everything went very smoothly, with my queries being answered promptly. The tenancy has now commenced, and I am impressed with the service I have received from CGT all the way through.

Cannot praise CGT Stroud Estate Agents enough! They provide an outstanding, professional and friendly level of service and have been exceptionally supportive and helpful throughout the entire process of renting a property. had been looking for a place to rent for a while, every other estate agent I called were unhelpful and uninformative, not even willing to take my details for any potential upcoming properties. When I called GCT I spoke with Lisa, who is absolutely brilliant! She was more than helpful, she kept me updated throughout the entire process which was very reassuring given the demand for rental properties at the moment - She is an absolute credit to CGT Team and just made the entire process run so smoothly! I had a very lovely lady named Alison, who followed up with all the paperwork and documentation. Alison has been fantastic, she was also very informative, kept in touch and managed to sort all the relevant information out so quickly, that I to move in within a week! A massive thank you to Lisa, Alison and Sarah, what a fantastic team you are! You have been absolutely amazing and made the whole process so stress-free and easy! How can we start? From the moment we applied and viewed the property Sarah was an absolutely star! Professional, kind and very friendly showed us around. Following a recommendation from a friend we put our property for the first time in the hands of an agent. Very professional service. I was with another well known agent in Stroud for many years and unfortunately felt I was not receiving a good personal service. CGT Team took over at a time when my property need some major TLC and I did too !!!! Many years ago we used to be the tenants and our Landlord was a b****** who did not employ Agents and would do nothing when things went wrong. Now we are the Landlords we will look after our tenants, as long as they keep to their agreement, and this is where CGT are important. They are the intermediaries and when I am not available will look after the tenant, but also the Landlord, by getting anything needed to be done sorted quickly and at a sensible price. Have dealt with Lisa, the Branch Manageress, for 15 years and find her a really genuine person.
