GoogleDo not use; if you have an elderly relative, get home-visit contractors to service them instead. RS will continue to cost you money, well after your relative has passed, through extortionate service charge and provide a poor level of service until you have sold the property that your relative was in - why have that level of exposure?
Paying well over £1,000 on service charge per month for 'services' that are not being used and the cleaners do not even get equipment - you have to provide a hoover and materials!!? Borderline theft that services are being charged when there is no service use and the 'services' they do provide are at best, half-baked.

GoogleMy late mother loved her time at Melton Court but finding a buyer for her flat, with 16 in block for sale, has been unsuccessful for over a year now. The full monthly fee of £707 has still to be paid even though the flat is empty so beware!!

GoogleGreat place to live but be aware that when family pass away you are still liable for the full monthly maintenance payments and water bill. I think this should be halved as you are not getting the full package and water is hardly used only when cleaning is done which is not as frequent. This can take a chunk out of your selling price

GoogleBe aware of the "service charges". Typically the current "service charge" is somewhere in the region of £515.56 per calendar month, with a separate payment of water rates at £17.15. .

These include:
~ Wages for the staff - 24/7 staff on site, Court manager, Duty managers, House keeping assistance and Gardening
~ Funds for future maintenance - Repairs, maintenance and updating the court
~ Management services - Discounted lease extension, Company secretary, Accounting, Staffing matters, Building matters, Building insurance and Interior design
