As a first-time buyer, the whole process of buying a house can feel pretty stressful but our experience with King Homes in Stratford-upon-Avon was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Jess, our estate agent, was amazing throughout. She was friendly, approachable, and incredibly helpful, always taking the time to explain things clearly and answer any questions we had. She made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring, which meant so much to us as first-time buyers. Communication was excellent, everything was handled professionally, and we genuinely felt supported at every stage of the process. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to Jess and the team at King Homes for helping us buy our first home. Fantastic experience with Jess and the rest of the team at King Homes. We had a very challenging six-month journey purchasing our first home, mainly due to delays with land registration on the part-exchanged property, but Jess was absolutely incredible throughout. She was proactive, patient, and always on top of every update, constantly chasing solicitors and keeping us reassured when things got stressful. It genuinely felt like she cared about getting us across the finish line, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to guide us through. I decided to sell my house with King Homes as there were a lot of sold signs with their names on them in my local area. Secondly they only sell houses, rather than also renting properties and I believed this would be more advantageous for me. I cannot speak highly enough regarding the service I have received and the people who have have helped with marketing and selling my house. Amy came to value my property along with Edward who took the photographs. Amy was friendly and professional. She advised me what price my property should be marketed at and then wrote a tremendous and accurate description of the property. The photographs were taken at the same time, they were edited that night and my house was listed online the following day. Jess was the second person who dealt with me. She conducted the viewings and I was notified in advance of the date and time of any viewings. Jess has been very professional and has always responded to any of my questions almost immediately. I accepted an offer for the full asking price two weeks after my property was listed. This exceeded any expectations I had and I can only thank everyone in the King Homes team. I am extremely happy I chose them. I would recommend anyone wanting to sell or buy a house to use them and I would certainly use their services again if I ever needed to. Very poor service throughout our transaction. Firstly our buyer pulled out but they didn't inform us of this until we chased them for an update on progress. Secondly our new buyers chain collapsed, guess what, they didn't inform us. We only found out through our onward chains estate agents. Everytime we call for an update there's no one in the office, there's always a promise for a urgent call back, guess what, there's a theme here, no call. When you finally manage to collar someone, the lack of knowledge of the situation or urgency to complete is ridiculous, we are nearly 6 months and still waiting. In hindsight we should have used another estate agent, the quickness and urgency of Kings coming out to photograph and list the property In 24 hours should have sounded the alarm bells. Steer clear if selling, and if your purchasing through them, I can only wish you luck, you'll need it!!

We sold our house through King Homes last month. It was our first ever experience and so despite all our research, we were confused and hesitant when it came to choosing the right agents. I must say, going with Kings had been the best ever decision we could have made. From start, their professional attitude, attention to detail and most of all their availability/responsiveness impressed us. The whole team was great but Jessica in particular was incredible throughout. She made sure we got all support and was available throughout the process whenever we had any difficultly or required any support. We had booked a property viewing over the phone, however, when we had to follow up on the day of the viewing we were told that this was not feasible. Very poor service/communication to not have been informed of this. This seems to be a common theme looking at historic reviews. Also, a very weak apology to go with it.
