Over priced rubbish, 10% increase in rent every year but service decreases every year, snow isn't clear and the ground are well kept even though that's part of the rental agreement, repairs either bodged or they just don't show up then will say you didn't answer and will threaten to fine you under off shore helicopter flight route so noisy all day, on site office staff unless, assigned parking spaces usually no where near your building, plus side neighbours are mostly good either friendly or keep to them selfs

I had an excellent experience at Forbes Place - Dandara Living! The apartments are modern, clean, and beautifully designed. The environment is শান্ত and very comfortable, making it a perfect place to live. The staff are highly professional, friendly, and always quick to help with anything needed. The whole process was smooth and completely hassle-free. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality and comfortable living space!

We have lived here with my partner for almost a year now. Nice place, nice neighbors, everything is very sweet. The massive issue tho is that the whole area is located under the helicopter flight path. You will hear each and every offshore departure from Aberdeen. On rainy days they are especially low as well. Funny thing: people who constructed the building provided solid soundproof windows and right on the side they cut out a massive hole thought the building for ventilation that you can not close hahah what was the point of fancy noise cancelling windows? Basically noise is definitely a massive issue in this area, not just specifically this site. But their apartments can't handle noise, especially helicopters. Before renting or moving, have a look at the flight path map online. We also have problems with people entering apartment buildings and running around corridors or trying to sell sweets door to door... Which is super weird, to be honest. Don't forget that they also increase payment every year. It is on their contract! In any case, we will move out unfortunately. Flats don't really have storage, only wardrobes for clothes and kitchen is super small in terms of storage as well. Temporary, it is a good place to stay if you are a deep sleeper. I am not a deep sleeper and I wanted to stay here for years with a lot of things to store and multiple kitchen appliances. Not my fit.

Moved into my Dandara studio apartment in July. The application process was quite lengthy but had no issues and any questions were answered promptly. Move in day came and I was given a thorough tour and everything shown to me and explained. My car parking space was a bit far away from my apartment as I have an issue with my back currently so mobility has been an issue. They immediately sorted out a closer space for me I have mostly dealt with Anne and she has been fantastic! Couldn’t fault them in anyway. Iv seen people posting about issues with noise outside or neighbours and I haven’t had any problem at all. Really love my new apartment and would recommend anyone to live here!

The 2 bed apartment we rented far exceeded expectations. Immaculate on arrival, the flat was spotless, well appointed and appliances were to a very high standard. We had very few problems whilst in the flat but anything we did raise was resolved very promptly by the on site team. Would highly recommend and thanks to Anne & Diane in the office and Reuben and Cliff who were always on hand to resolve any issues.

I would like to share my experience from start to finish with the goal of assisting others with their decision regarding letting of Stoneywood apartments. Viewings - 3/5 - I was shown an apartment that was at the time suffering with some form of water egress, this in and of itself was not an issue. Ultimatley I moved into an appartment much closer to the dual carriageway and unfortunately suffered with noise disturbances. Overall, it was my mistake to not insist on viewing the actual apartment I would be moving into. Process of moving in - 1/5 - This was exceptionally poor. So much so Infact, you'd be forgiven for assumed the letting agent was a trainee or new start. I was traveling to Chicago with work on the day Dandara insisted I move in, I explained this would be in another country and it would be more convenient for my tenancy to begin when I returned. "We can do that". This phrase became all to familiar. When asking why a move in date could not be moved back by a week, no other reasoning than "it's not something we can do" was given. This perceived lack of care towards the tenant or inability from the letting agent was extended when asking if I could pay ahead to allow the rent to be taken at the start of the month to ensure all bills were paid at the same time. "We can't do that". You see were I'm going with this. Overall, a horrendous experience that I now joke with others about to this day. Build quality - 5/5 - Honestly, the quality of the apartments are second to none. I couldn't praise the work of those who were involved in the construction enough. Overall, fantastic builds. Tenancy - 3/5 - I only needed to spend a short period of time at Stoneywood before my property was finished. Thankfully I only had one request to the letting team, if the previous tenants had also struggled with road noise and if they had figured a way to overcome it. Not so thankfully my email was ignored with no response. Overall, the letting team showing they are by far in a way the worst part of Stoneywood. Leaving - 2/5 - As with any letting company they will overcharge for any and all aspects of leaving. I can't really say it's any different, either better or worse. Overall, expect to pay roughly £300 on pre approved cleaning agencies. Final note. I have been lucky enough through work to spend time in apartment complexes in Chicago, Liverpool, Glasgow, Berlin and Copenhagen. While aberdeen obviously doesn't try to emulate those cities, the price of which Dandara apartments charge does. Because of this I hold them to the same standards in which they fail massively. The most frustrating part is the apartments themselves are terrific, it's just the staff that let both the Dandara name and themselves down.

We moved into our 2 bedroom apartment just over 2 weeks ago now. The application process took just over a week from first viewing to moving in. This was down to the outstanding work done on our behalf, at a very stressful time for us, by the lovely Anne and Diane at the lettings suite. We were already dealing with our own personal house quite a few miles away that had become uninhabitable and so to have Anne and Diane looking after us was a godsend. The apartment is fantastic and will be more than sufficient for our needs until our own house becomes available again. As someone else said, waking up to those beautiful countryside views is lovely. Couldn’t praise Anne and Diane highly enough. Thank you.

Still no resolution to our rising damp issue raised 10 weeks ago. Yet to have a qualified damp proofing surveyor attend. Consider carefully before renting from this luxury development. Facilities repairs a shambles and numerous calls and emails have made no difference. Management failing to get a handle on things.

When being on extended business trips, my company wanted to put me up in a more permanent place than a hotel - Forbes Place seemed ideal. Viewed the apartments, which are reasonably nice and wanted to rent there, BUT... Once I shared that the rental would be a bit unusual (my company arranging through a third party), the disappointment started. Rather than stepping up to the plate and show-casing what great customer service looked like, we were being held with many excuses - the biggest issue being that they complained about having to fill out "too much paperwork" (in fact it was only about 6 pages for what we offered a pre-paid 6 months to start with). It almost seemed that they were not interested in the money or it was "too much work", which my assistant confirmed. What a shame - it seems to be a nice place - but customer service in my case was non-existent.

I have lived in section 3 for 3 1/2 months now. I was very happy to move into a new and clean complex. The staff is friendly and the location is good. I live on the 6th floor with a beautiful view out of the living room window. I overlook the last paper mill in Aberdeen. It is not necessarily a sight for sore eyes but at times it is very noisy with the sound of forklifts beeping and the banging of trucks being loaded. Sometime even at 0230 in the morning. I knew the airport was close and knew what I was getting into before moving in. Just for your knowledge the helicopter flight path is directly over the complex. The helicopters are extremely loud but may be less loud on lower floors? I have also had and continue to have an issue with my door buzzer. It still does not work. It is a little annoying that if I have anything delivered, the delivery person must call my cell because of this issue. I would hope to have this resolved but again after 3 months it is becoming more of an issue. I gave this a 4 star because of the friendly staff, cleanliness of the grounds, and location.

Renting with Dandara Living I’ve been renting a studio apartment for almost over 6 months now and no where else in Aberdeen will ever come close to the living standards here at Forbes place. The truth really is 100% luxury living, from the apartment being modern, stylish and spacious with a balcony. Waking up to a panoramic view of countryside whilst knowing you live in a city. All of this is fantastic and to make it an even more memorable and proud place to stay you have an amazing management team there for you! They work a 9-5 basis 7 days a week providing conceirge service, updating us with any important information and also communicating with every tennant on a personal level. It’s 2nd to none customer service and everyday I wake up to the glorious sun shining into my apartment I am thankful that I started renting with the Dandara Living letting agency!

I’ve lived at Forbes Place for around a year now. I’ve always received excellent service from the Dandara team and having them on site is such a huge help and makes everything super quick and easy! They really care about the residents and will do everything in their power to help you which is always good! The apartments themselves are furnished to a really high standard and are really neutral too for you to decorate them the way you want. Haven’t had any issues with living at Forbes Place in terms of the apartment or the staff, everything has been fab and so much better than having a private landlord!

My fiancée and I have been residents at Forbes Place for almost a year and half. Not only do we enjoying living in our flat, but the on-site team have prioritized making our experience at Forbes place exceptional. It is clear that the team care about the residents, as they are friendly and helpful and we are known by name when we come into the office. We haven’t had many issues with our flat while living at Forbes Place, but when we do the Lettings Team are quick to respond and get things sorted. They were especially helpful when we decided to relocate to another flat within the complex. They helped us find the right one and made sure the move-in/move-out process went smoothly. We would certainly recommend living at Forbes Place. The on-site Lettings Team have provided the best rental management we’ve experienced and why we continue to choose Forbes Place to live.

I've enjoyed living at Forbes Place for over a year now, and find the whole set-up to be ultra modern, contemporary, and convenient. The beautiful riverside location, the stylish new properties, and the handy local amenities are first class in every respect, and with my local 'corner-shop' being in fact a brand new M&S Food Hall just a short walk away, I can't think why I would want to move. The whole development is managed and looked after by the staff in the on-site Lettings Suite, and I have found them to be never anything but accommodating, and always willing to offer help and advice, be that taking delivery of my groceries and parcels in my absence, or ensuring regular health and safety checks on all supplied appliances and equipment. They even organise occasional residents' social events in order to give everyone a chance to meet their neighbours. I've had no regrets at all since moving here.
