My friend had reviewed a property from them and immediately called up to reserved. The next day the deposit fee was paid and the forms filled out and sent back but there was one form missing which they emailed them at 1pm to get another form filled out and by 2pm which they was at work so haven’t been on there emails. When they saw the email at 3pm they had let this property to someone else. That’s awful they had paid money to hold it and they didn’t even try to call to inform them. Didn’t even give them time to reply. Terrible job we wouldn’t recommend using them to anyone. How can they do that to someone when they need this place to move in and live. DONT USE THEM OR TRUST THEM.

Not very good, slap-dash and shoddy. Agent came to house, polite but a typical salesman - a bit slimey and talked a lot of bullsh!t. I think valuation was a bit low by £5-7k for a quick sale. Another agent came to take photos. He was polite but also a typical salesman. He spent only 10 mins taking photos and making notes. He clearly didn't want to hang around. Other agents spent 30 mins plus. House was put online but photos looked awful - taken in a rush, with small digital camera (other agents used professional DSLR cameras) and from unfavourable angles. Photos were small!! Front of house pic focused more on next door, kitchen looked small as half cut out, Main bedroom pic focused on back wall and No pics of other rooms. No mention of parking, built-in wardrobes, sunny garden or local facilities. I went with different agency in the end.

The worst letting agency i have ever seen in my life. I have been with no hot water throughout most of my winter and when i called them regards with this issue they weren't even bothered and was rude to me, I have sent them numerous number of emails regarding with this issue, especially the representative employee who was who was the very rude person in that agency. Wouldn’t even try to help me in anyway and because of that not having hot water throughout the winter, I was so much depressed and it affected my mental health. Now that I’ve decided to move from that place. They’re not willing to give my deposit back and they, put so much accusations against me for keeping the holding deposit in the other money with them, and they’re not willing to give any deposit, and I went to give back the keys at that time, they were not response, and the office was closed, and they didn’t even try to open and now that they are charging me for the extra days that I had the key for which I didn’t even stay, and they are accusing me for that as well, the rudest agency that you can ever See

If there was a minus a would have rather given them minus. I am very fortunate to get rid of these scammers , who try to take your holding deposit. Their staff is terribly rude and the lady who is over the phone you need to get some classes for customer service. I was lucky that they made a mistake and sent me my holding deposit back. The company who is so greedy for holding deposit don't know what they will do if some body rents from them. Avoid them stay as far as you can.

We're so glad we used Mark Simon instead of going with one of the bigger chain Estate Agents. They did everything they promised and more (for the lowest fee we were quoted) with no pressure and were always on the end of the phone if we had any queries. They sold our property in 2 days and did a lot of chasing only for our purchase to eventually fall through. Even though they hadn't had a penny from us they were so supportive, we wouldn't hesitate to use them again and wholly recommend them.
