Worst estate agents I’ve come across! Had a viewing arranged with this estate agents, received confirmation email of the viewing also. My partner took the day off work loosing wages to view this property! ( I am also a disabled person who suffers with Secondary Progressive Multiple sclerosis and reason for moving is need to be closer to parents who have lived in the same town for over 35 years and my mother has Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer!) the estate agent knew all this information. We turned up at the property to be viewed and stood around for agent to arrive. After the arranged time had passed we rang them to find out where the agent was to be told that they have already let the property and didn’t even bother to notify us!! We come to find out the property had been let either last week or beginning part of this week!!! Yet they failed to contact us to tell us this so as a result my partner has lost a days wage for nothing!! Caused stress and upset all round (stress being a main trigger for MS!) disgusting management skills, appalling estate agent to deal with as the seemingly can’t even keep you up to date with simple information!

We came to Binks & Brown when our previous agent let us down, Matt came to value our property and listened to our needs took some wonderful pictures to showcase our home and within the week after various viewings we sold! They found us our new home and kept us informed throughout the sale & purchase process. Awful service, as discussed with an agent viewed a property sent a bid via email, no response whatsoever. I was the one to chase them for days, they kept telling me a call back was requested but no joy. Found out the property I have sent a bid was sold without even giving me any ideas whether if I need to improve it or not!

I can agree with most on here keep calling leaving messages even been into their shop face to face with promises that someone will call us back. I don’t know why Mr Binks partnered up with someone as sadly his good reputation has really gone downhill. When he worked solo he was much more interested in the people he what with and to achieve their dreams for them now sadly it’s more about money and what he can achieve for himself it’s horrible to read that people have lost money because of this firm as sadly in this day and age that’s not a great thing especially when moving as you put everything you have into that

Disappointing customer experience

I feel that achieving the best price for my property didn’t matter to the agent and as soon as I advertised with Binks & Brown they gradually dropped the price for my property well below its lowest current value and I was not happy about that as I think there is a difference between reducing a property price in a difficult market and trying to sell it for next to nothing just to get a deal. Also, once a potential buyer came along my property was removed from the market without my agreement although they hadn’t even sold their house and this could have potentially stopped someone else who perhaps would have been financially ready from buying it. I would not recommend nor go back to their services to sell my property and it’s now back on the market with a different agent as the potential buyer couldn’t afford it in the end as expected.
