Discriminative and Racist Estate Agent
My family and I have honestly had the worst service with this Estate Agent. We found their Rent advert on Zoopla and contacted them for viewing. Upon viewing the house, we loved it and was asked to pay a holding deposit of £250 to keep the house of the market. This was done on a Wednesday. We waited patiently till Friday, when we got a call from this Estate agent saying Unfortunately the landlord doesn’t want to rent the property anymore so they are taking it off the market. We thought instantly there was something horribly wrong here. We phoned back on Saturday to say we were even willing to pay more than the listed rental price. The Agent told us the house was rented on the Wednesday, and tenant paid £1,100. This was the same day we paid the holding fee to keep the house off the market. There was no reason to deny us as we had everything they required. They clearly lied to us and we feel so discriminated against and a clear example of systemic RACISM. We are totally disappointed.

In my experience, this has been one of the most disappointing letting agents I’ve dealt with so far.

Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
Tell us what you need and we'll put you in touch. Octagon hasn't joined The Trusted Agent yet, so we'll pass your enquiry to them or to up to three other top-rated agents near Staines.
