Really positive experience with Whittaker & Biggs. Marcus, the valuer, was friendly, positive, knowledgeable and realistic, which I genuinely appreciated after speaking with a few other local competitors. Once I made my decision, photos were booked and my house was live within 24h. Viewings booked for the following Monday and sold within a week. Everything was done in a timely fashion and carefully curated. The team at the office, especially Emma and Jane, were consistently prompt with their responses and kept things moving without any fuss. Communication was always clear and professional, and the whole process felt efficient from start to finish. In terms of fees and service, they offered good value for money compared to others in the area. Overall, a reliable, no-nonsense team that I’d happily recommend. Thanks for everything to make my sale go so well.

Highly recommend Whittaker and Biggs … we sold our house immediately and dealt with Marcus and already had our heart set on a property ! We sold our house, and bought our next next one, with Whittaker and Biggs. From the very start Marcus attended our property to value it, followed by Marissa who obtained photographs , measurements etc. A big shout to Tiffany, who handled all our queries with a friendly, yet professional manner. Also Emma who stepped in at times when Tiffany wasn't available. Thank you Chloe for letting us know about our current property, which had only come back on the market hours earlier. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. The whole process went very smoothly and with little stress. Should we require an agent in future we wouldn't hesitate to use W&B again.

I found myself in the sad position of having to sell my mother's bungalow when she went into a nursing home. I do not live locally so used Rightmove to see which seemed the best local agent and thus contacted Whittaker and Biggs. Marcus Kirkham from W&B attended and we discussed my needs, which included a realistic price for the property as I didn't want it to sit empty for ages, and the agent to do weekly inspection visits. I was immediately impressed with Marcus who was both professional and practical, and I didn't bother seeing another agent. The property sold and the proposed completion date became tighter than I would have liked, only a few days after returning from Australia. Marcus and his team organised the bungalow to be cleared for me and they also managed to find a cleaning company to work over the weekend to clean it for the new owners. I sent keys by post and everything went smoothly on the day of completion. I don't think W&B could have done any more. They were an extremely safe pair of hands and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Thanks Marcus and team.

Overall we had 3 attempts to achieve a successful sale and W+B were very patient with me through that nightmare of a process. Marcus and his team work hard to pull it all together.Some large estate agents perform the full AML process for the seller - it might help enormously to speed up the legal process as solicitors still set their own pace and can often ignore client-specific needs.

The leek branch have been brilliant during my sale process, (it wasn’t the easiest chain)from a Facebook message on a Sunday night, Louis was around for photos and valuation the next day, kept me in the loop on what’s app and phonecalls, a promised fixed price that was kept. I used The agents because They have an office in the centre of the town and were most welcoming when I went in with my husband to make enquiries. Marcus and Chloe were most helpful in providing advice on value and keeping me up to date with viewings and feedback when I received offers they provided advice about the purchases circumstances and what to do about questions following the survey. The sale took 4 months from first instructing to completion and I was pleased with the outcome and would certainly recommend anyone to use them. The charges were reasonable as well! Fernanda Wain
