Ella has been a complete gem

Ella has been a complete gem! So grateful for all her hard work to help us get a new dishwasher when ours gave out. We told her about my mobility being down and that we had a baby under 1 - so without a dishwasher we were in quite a pickle! Ella was amazing - she chased everything up for us and got everything organised so the new dishwasher came within a week! Couldn’t recommend these guys enough 🙌🏼 Thank you so much!

Great service and communication

During our 2 year tenancy the property we lived in was managed by Dexters property management, the staff were always polite, friendly and helpful. Whenever there were issues with the property, we were able to reach someone who was able to provide assistance. Nikki Harris was managing the property we lived in, the five of us who lived there would like to thank her in particular for her consistent help and advice throughout the tenancy, she has always been massively helpful regarding any issues or questions we've had. For a few of the people living in the property this was their first time renting, Nikki always took the time to explain things clearly and in a way that helped us to understand how issues were being dealt with. Any issues with the property were always addressed as quickly as they could be and we always felt in safe hands. Many thanks

We have worked with Dexters since 2019 and are landlords of one property. There have been ups and downs with tenants and we have found a way through working together. Having a key contact who is readily available is most helpful, particularly when there are tricky minutiae to deal with. We have worked with several members of staff in this capacity over the years; always seeking to be helpful and supportive. The level of professionalism has generally been high. Currently, Sherina Downes is our point of contact; she is excellent and deserves five stars on her own. Great communication and sees things through.

Viraj based in the property management team in Loampit Vale is so proactive and on the ball. He gets things done and sorted and always knows the right people to contact. He is an excellent communicator and is always transparent. He is professional and friendly too. He is a fast responder and always ensures he follows up to make sure everything is ok. real lack of service/ communication

awful, I have been trying to speak to someone from the sales team for months. they say the same script every time I call "this is lettings, leave your details and sales will call you back". They never do. I actually want to purchase a property, why wont they talk to me? I can see the property just sitting there and every time I ask if it's still available they say it is. But I never get further than that with them.

Monika has been managing my flat for rent for the last year or so. She has always been friendly, responsive and proactive, communicated regularly by email and by phone and I have been able to feel the flat is in good hands. Recently we've had some issues with damage coming from the flat above and she has gone the extra mile to chase the managers of that property so that the damage can be repaired. Unfortunately I had a leak at my flat which I let out through Dexters. Monika has been incredibly efficient in resolving this - chasing the managing agent to find the cause of the leak, following up and arranging for it to be fixed and then looking into redecoration which needs to be claimed on the buildings insurance, as well as liaising with and reassuring the tenant and keeping me informed. She has been a pleasure to deal with and I am really impressed by her efficiency, reliability and tenacity.

Recently I had an issue with an appliance at one of my rented properties, Nabil Subhani dealt with back and forth between his maintenance team, the tenant, the insurance company and directly with me. In all the time. Dealing with the matter, Nabil was responsive to all matters in an extremely efficient and timely way. His communication was clear and to the point and the matter was progressed efficiently despite the fact that that too many people were involved he stayed at the centre of communicating with all parties concerned.

Proactive communication and empathy

Proactive communication, empathy and transparency are three core values I have seen demonstrated at Dexters. I have rented a home through them for nearly two years, and they have stood out as property managers that actually care. Most recently, Daragh Power has impressed me with their kindness and genuine care. I had two requests of the landlord, one that would require a change to my contact, and Daragh was AMAZING at listening to my needs, understanding the time sensitivity and following up with the landlord when we didn’t receive a response right away. They could have deprioritised my concerns or have gotten upset with my persistence but instead they understood where I was coming from and really advocated for me. This is exactly what one would want from a property manager, but is something I find is rare, especially in a ‘landlord market.’ Daragh communicated professionally throughout and made the entire process stress free. I wouldn’t choose another property manager besides Dexters.

Vote for worst estate agency of the year

This review is in particular for Dexter's Lee.If you think all Estate Agents in Lee are the same,then Dexter's Lee is definitely different. very different,in fact they could contend for the worst estate agency in England. I would highly recommend to anyone buying or selling through Dexter's Lee to contact me. The team, and in particular the sales team are money oriented. They will provide all sorts of distorted facts to make you list their property through them and whilst buying ,all sorts of lies without any moral conscience will be told. Their costs are higher than other than other estate agents who provide a far more personal service. This agency strives on the Dexter's brand but having dealt with Dexter's in other parts,I can easily vouch that they are the worst and most unprofessional. Please do your research before listing your property,buying and even thinking of renting out through them. They will completely ignore any of your requests or their duties as long as they can make their commission. As stated I am ready to help and discuss in more detail on why to avoid this agency
